The Barley Oak

Review: On June 16, I went to the Barley Oak with family. I later signed a tab for $42.09 (inc. tip). Two days later, two charges appeared on my VISA debit card statement: one for $42.09 and a second charge (not mine) for $9.00. It is this $ 9.00 charge for which I am seeking reimbursement. I met personally with [redacted] at the Barley Oak on June 27 with the receipt in hand, and I left him the copy of the erroneous charge from my bank statement. I later spoke to him on the phone and gave him more information about my debit card #. After 8 days without a response, I feel that this is the only choice left, especially since this same thing happened to me about 2 years ago at the Barley Oak. Hum.....I have to wonder how many other phantom charges the Barley Oak has levied over the last few years.All I really wanted was a brief apology and my $9. So far, I have neither.Desired Settlement: I would to be reimbursed the $9 I was charged in error.

At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding The Barley Oak has been resolved.

[redacted] called, but not about the Revdex.com letter, which he never mentioned.

I resolved the issue with my own bank, which reversed the original charge.

The Barley Oak basically did nothing and didn't even apologize.

The matter is now completed.
