Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Barnyard has merely passed the blame on to their subcontractor (i.e., their agent)However, since their subcontractor was acting as an agent of the Barnyard the Barnyard is responsible for the acts of their agents (See the law of agency)Furthermore, the Barnyard has also passed the blame onto the cable company because "any utility line is typically laid deeper than that"The Barynard cites to no code of the state of Connecticut to back their positionThe reason for this is that there is most likely no code for cable companies to bury their linesThis is why using " [redacted] ***" is crucialMore specifically, " [redacted] ***" is the law for "Anyone using power or mechanized equipment who disturbs the earth on or below the surface" because utilities are not always at specific depths due to frost, heaving and other acts of natureSince the Barnyard has refused to take responsibility and merely passed the buck, I reject their response Sincerely, [redacted]
