Review: I paid by credit card in advance of my project being completed, or actually even started. I first paid separately for a magnet clasp for $18.00 from her so she could use it for my project. I then paid an additional $32.00. For my project to be completed in full. She was to restring a row of beads/gems on wire with a watch in the middle to wear as a bracelet/watch. It was important for me that the watch face sat on my wrist without turning around the wrist (like a regular bracelet would) but sit tighter on my wrist so I could just look down and see the time. I sat for over an hour listening to her complain about how busy and frazzled she was. I did not follow my gut as I should have gathered my items and left her store as soon as she started her ranting. But I had already paid for everything in advance. She spent no time with me except for jabbering, actually yelling at me and having me create the order that the beads/gems/watch would be in on my wrist. She wanted me to string on a wire, the order in which I wanted the watch/bracelet to look like. But that is why I brought the pieces to her so she could create a bracelet fitting my wrist properly. She actually would not let me speak but instead rushed around her store talking out loud and shouting at me to hurry up and leave. This was during her working hours with no sign posted for lunch or a time that she would not have customers come into her store. I should NOT have sat down and strung beads at all, as I have no experience in doing this type of work. That is why I brought my project to her. She kept telling me to hurry up as she wanted to leave the store (lunch time) and get back to her work in progress. She kept talking about the vacation she was going to take and how busy she was. Upon entering the store I specifically asked her if she could have my bracelet ready by September 24, 2014 so I could wear it for the Jewish Holidays. She said she would have it done by then. So finally after being rushed, yelled at and intimidated I left the store. I assumed I would get a call on September 23, 2014 telling me to come and pick up my completed bracelet. I did not hear from her. So today I called her and asked when the work would be done and told her that the Holiday’s had already begun. She was very RUDE, LOUD and said to me that she was going on vacation and would not be returning until mid-October and could not even think of my project until her return. I then told her that she said she would have it ready for the holidays and that I paid for it in advance. She said that I did not pay for it and that she had to get off the phone NOW! I said I have the pick-up ticket and receipt in hand showing that I had paid in advance and had the receipt and ticket to prove it. She basically said nothing more than I have to go now I am too busy to speak with you. I then asked her if I could get my watch, beads/gems and money back. She yelled at me and hung up the phone. I am now basically in shock as I have never had such a rude experience with a business (or person) in my entire life. Nor have I ever been talked to like that, I actually felt frozen as she continued to yell at me and intimidate me. I called my credit card company and asked that they not pay her but they said they could not do that but would refund my money, as I was in excellent standing with them and have had this credit card for over 12 years. But for me, it was not the money that mattered but I wanted for her not to be paid. I tried to ask her for my parts, beads/gems, watch and money back but she would not let me get a word in edge wise still telling me only that she was too busy to deal with me. Writing this complaint to you and saying that this was an “improper or inferior service” does not even begin to explain how awful this experience has been for me. There are many reasons why I am completing this form but could only use one. I could have used at least another 5 reasons. I am sorry if I have been repetitive or confusing but I too am confused as to why she behaved this way, made a commitment that she did not honor, took my money and failed to do my work or even treat me with a little respect and as a human being. Thank you.Desired Settlement: All of the following would be acceptable: Accept Refund Merchandise, Billing Adjustment, and Delivery of Order, Start and Finish the Job properly and without malice, Refund-Credit Card Credit.
