The Beauty Bar Reviews (3)

Unfortunately [redacted] never made a deposit payment, with that said there cannot be a refund made to her.  [redacted] paid for services done on her the day she was in salon. A trial is not mandatory and is always an optional service.  Our hair and makeup trial services are listed on our website and no where does is state that it is a mandatory service.   Our retainers are $35 per service and she has asked for $75 back, technically had she truly made a retainer payment to hold her date, as she is claiming, it would be $70 she would be requesting back.  Our wedding coordinator who accompanies all brides during trials said there was never a retainer made and had there been [redacted] has the incorrect amount.  It is pretty clear that at this point [redacted] seems to be fabricating a story to receive money in return at the expense of our company and reputation.  She has now moved onto making outrageous claims against my staff and their character.  Attached are her conversations with the artist that performed hair and makeup on her for the date of her trial.  She recommended a trial to try the look [redacted] wanted but never said it was mandatory.  It has saddened me to see what has transpired from this as our company is highly respected in the wedding industry and have never had to address such fictitious claims.  We wish her luck with her future wedding planning and choose to move forward from this with more caution when working with our brides.

I am rejecting this response because:
There response is a total lie. I was manipulated not told about extra cost.  I WAS TOLD NUMBEROUSLY that the trial was mandatory.  Even at the trial, she knew I was just going home, and she still...

tried putting false lashes on me ...the whole nine.  They even commented that it was too bad I was just going home to sleep.  Their staff does everything they can, too milk you.  My wedding was CANCELLED.  I just dont want this kind of communist fraud to happen to anyone else.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I was completely deceived by this company. They told me my hair trial was mandatory, which was a lie. They also offered services without telling me that they were extra. I was completely robbed. Now I do not have the money for my wedding because I was charged 210 dollars for a hair and makeup trial!! This company is not up front about there prices and do not tell you what you are being charged for until it is time to pay. I do not want this happening to another bride. Because of the beauty bar my wedding day is ruined. I am devastated.Desired Settlement: I do not expect a full refund, but I do think I deserve my deposit back. Since I will not be returning. I think they have enough of my money.
