Review: When I first entered this store I told the saleswoman that I was very sensitive to chemicals and odors and didn't want mattresses made with chemicals or artificial ingredients. I told her I had purchased two new chairs and they were so strong with a chemical smell that I had to keep them outside for weeks and when I eventually sat on them, the skin that made contact broke out in a rash. She was emphatic that the mattresses were all natural, containing no chemicals and also said they were made with soy. I purchased a set and became very ill and disoriented after the first night and stopped sleeping on them after 3 nights. I contacted the saleswoman who said I must sleep on an "aired" set of mattresses before she could contact the company for a refund. She wanted to exchange my mattress set for one they had airing out in their warehouse...they did this, she said, before putting them on the showroom floor. I didn't hear from her and when I called her I had aired my mattresses for 4 nights so she said to try them again....I was so ill after 4 hours I had to stop. I checked the mattress legal tag that said mattress was made with a total of 73%polyurethane foam...which the saleswoman denied.I made the purchase 11-9-13. After lots of phone calls, saleswoman, on 1-31-14 said they would give me a refund minus a restocking fee and they would call to say when this would happen. I called on 3-1-14 and was told she no longer worked there. Woman on phone said to email her with timeline on my complaint, which I did. She forwarded it to the owner,Tim, who emailed me on 3-2-14,saying he was "taking this very seriously". He apologized and said "we had never heard of any of this and would never have let it go on for so long." He assured me "I will be handling this" and would contact me to get it resolved. He didn't. I hadn't heard from him so emailed him on 4-9 saying to pick up the mattresses and refund me,but as of today, April 25th, I have not heard from anybody from The Bed Store. They all seem to lie.Desired Settlement: The saleswoman, Andrea Gardner, told me Tim Wilkins, the owner, was giving me a refund minus a 25% restocking fee. I reluctantly agreed to this but didn't think it was right since she had "misled" me,"didn't disclose" contents of mattress, or just plain lied to me. I would like a full refund of the $1,545.70 I paid.

Review: form the bed store in Paso Robles. On Feb. 6 the delivery men carried in a mattress/box spring wrapped in plastic with no paper work. So I asked the delivery man how do I know this is my mattress? He said that he was delivering a cordial I-series mattress and asked me to sign the invoice for proof of delivery, which I signed. After they left, I looked over the mattress and realized that mattress was darker (dirty_ than the box spring and the cover was worn in areas. It was obvious this was not a new mattress. Knowing the bed store was closed, I called twice and left messages on the stores answering machine. The following day Andrea the manager/salesperson called and apologized for the delivery error. She informed me that I received someone else s floor model mattress and she could reorder me a new cordial mattress. I said I would like a refund and to come pick their mattress up. Andrea said she needed to speak with the owner and would get back with me . This went on for three weeks, and then Andrea called to inform me that corporate office would be cutting a refund check on February 28.On March 2, I went to the bed store to speak to Kimberly regarding a refund, gave her a copy of my invoice, and pictures of the mattress tag. (09/28/2012 is the year the mattress was made)On March 3, the owner [redacted] called said hear was having problems with his employees and wanted to make it right with me. I told him I just wanted a refund and he said he would not give me a refund. But he could order a new cordial or I could pick something else out in the store. I said I was within the stores refund Policy and I had called twice within 24 hours. [redacted] replied that he would get a copy of the stores phone logs to have proof that I had called with the 24 hours. On March 5, I called [redacted] and he state that he was unable to get the phone log, so I offer to get my phone records. He said it was not necessary because he was not going to refund my money either r way. Once again, he said he could re-order a cordial, or I could go pick something else out in the store, or keep the store floor Model. IO replied, I never received the mattress I paid for, and [redacted] replied, To bad you signed for the delivery. The end result, we never reach an agreement regarding the iseries cordial queen mattress that I paid for and never received. Trims stories have changed each [redacted]e I spoke with him and I do not trust their company.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and I do not want the 2 year old stores floor model mattress.
