From start to finish, very good [redacted] helped us in store with our decision to buyThen right on time, [redacted] and [redacted] made the delivery and went our of their way to help us with moving things around to make the W/D fit, and helped with moving our refrig and old stoveEveryone was very helpful and professionalI will use Christies for any further needs

I first visited the store on La Cholla three years ago first bought my dryerSecond time I was comparing than a sales person came up and asked if he could help Well he was awesome, answered all my concerns and even gave me pointers on what to look for He really did his job that I ended up getting my wall microwave, refrigerator and stove all at once But I didn't need it till a few weeks, so [redacted] held my info and called me to say they were gonna offer a year no interest I applied for it selected all my appliances and received them when I was ready

I think this place used to be an exceptionally good appliance store that no longer is a good appliance store Ten years ago, I bought a dishwasher from Christie's, I never liked the dishwasher, a Whirlpool; it proved to have many faults Also, the installing tech bullied me and rushed me and would not give me time to mop under the space where the old dishwasher had sat Well, that was then This time, Christie's charged $for a service call to tell me the present dishwasher can't be fixed It took over a week for their man to come out to make the service call! Now it is taking almost another entire week for installation! It's a serious disservice, and it looks to me like the reason is Christie's just won't hire staff! Also, I resent their trying to deal with me in a personal instead of a professional fashion Here is what happened The man who made this latest service call is a very good technician ("***") but he ruined my day by telling me two things First, he told me the dishwasher would have lasted longer if I had used a "high heat" setting He has serviced this dishwasher before, so why did never say so before? Then, [redacted] said that when I go to Christie's to pick out a new dishwasher I have to see a salesman "***." I would have rather had ANYONE else serve me than this person "***" (his full name is [redacted] ) It was utterly unpleasant Probably explaining his temperament, he has an obviously very bad knee He can barely hobble about the showroom, and I can't imagine why he is at work at all When I objected to how long it is taking to get the dishwasher problem resolved, "***" waxed mouthy, wasted my time lecturing me about how he's in pain and how that's the most important thing in the world and a dishwasher is not I don't want to meet a salesman who is in pain and can't do his job without expressing pain! I have my own pains! That's what I mean when I say I object to a business treating me personally instead of professionally I just want a dishwasher that runs...and not to have to wait weeks and weeks for an appliance store to attend to me and be punished with a mouthy salesman to boot! It looks to me as if Christie's has gone the way of another local business that used to be professional and no longer is: Regal Carpet Cleaning I think in both instances, the same person is remaining at the helm of the business too long and has grown blind to perceiving how offensive it is to a customer when service is not professional

Short Story: The dishwasher we purchased at Christie’s Appliance nearly two years ago quit running. Thankfully we had purchased the extended warranty. After three weeks it was repaired.

Long Story: We called two days before Christmas when it died. A Christie’s repairman came the next day and determined that the pump was shot, a hose had been disconnected and a clip of some sort had broken. Nice guy. He left saying the parts would be ordered and we would be called when they came in. On the first Monday after New Years I called Christie’s Appliance to find out what the status of the parts were. I was told by their customer service that they had been shipped but Christie’s had not been given a tracking number so they did not know when it would arrive. Three days later I called again and was again told that they did not have a tracking number and did not know when they would arrive. This time I asked when they received the email about it having been shipped because that might give us all an idea of when they might arrive. After dodging the question, the lady put me on hold. The customer service manager came on the line to tell me the original repairman was at fault, he had left the company and no parts had ever been ordered. Hmmm. A new repairman was sent up to the house to look at the dishwasher. I had to leave work to meet with him. He looked at the dishwasher without turning it on to determine the problem or pulling it out from under the counter to get a better look at the pump. He said it was a clip. I told him the other repairman had said it was a clip, a clamp and a pump. The next day I called customer service to speak with the manager. He was not available and I was told to left a voice mail message. I did. He never called back. On Monday, I called again. They had the part(s)! Two service men were sent to repair the “guts” of the dishwasher and it works again.

Why was I told parts were being shipped when they had not been ordered? Twice. Why does the service manager not return calls? Why must I be the one to check on the status of repairs? Shouldn’t they be more client helpful?

I think this place used to be an exceptionally good appliance store that no longer is a good appliance store. Ten years ago, I bought a dishwasher from Christie's, I never liked the dishwasher, a Whirlpool; it proved to have many faults. Also, the installing tech bullied me and rushed me and would not give me time to mop under the space where the old dishwasher had sat. Well, that was then. This time, Christie's charged $40 for a service call to tell me the present dishwasher can't be fixed. It took over a week for their man to come out to make the service call! Now it is taking almost another entire week for installation! It's a serious disservice, and it looks to me like the reason is Christie's just won't hire staff! Also, I resent their trying to deal with me in a personal instead of a professional fashion. Here is what happened. The man who made this latest service call is a very good technician ("[redacted]") but he ruined my day by telling me two things. First, he told me the dishwasher would have lasted longer if I had used a "high heat" setting. He has serviced this dishwasher before, so why did never say so before? Then, [redacted] said that when I go to Christie's to pick out a new dishwasher I have to see a salesman "[redacted]." I would have rather had ANYONE else serve me than this person "[redacted]" (his full name is [redacted]). It was utterly unpleasant. Probably explaining his temperament, he has an obviously very bad knee. He can barely hobble about the showroom, and I can't imagine why he is at work at all. When I objected to how long it is taking to get the dishwasher problem resolved, "[redacted]" waxed mouthy, wasted my time lecturing me about how he's in pain and how that's the most important thing in the world and a dishwasher is not. I don't want to meet a salesman who is in pain and can't do his job without expressing pain! I have my own pains! That's what I mean when I say I object to a business treating me personally instead of professionally. I just want a dishwasher that runs...and not to have to wait weeks and weeks for an appliance store to attend to me and be punished with a mouthy salesman to boot! It looks to me as if Christie's has gone the way of another local business that used to be professional and no longer is: Regal Carpet Cleaning. I think in both instances, the same person is remaining at the helm of the business too long and has grown blind to perceiving how offensive it is to a customer when service is not professional.
