I hired Tammy T to do my hair for my wedding. For the record, a contract was never signed. Four days before the wedding she fried my hair and completely changed the color of my hair. It no longer matched the $200 extensions that I brought when I first visited her. I texted Tammy two weeks before my wedding because I went to her for a root touch up the following week and she made my hair darker and I asked her to lighten it up. I went to her Wednesday before the wedding and not only did I have to wait for almost two hours for her to start on my hair because she was working on her daughters hair but she completely messed up my hair. She tried to blame me.She took my hair from having any blonde in it to a brown/gray color and the ends were fried. I told her it looked silver and we needed to lighten it up so she said she would see me back tomorrow. I told her I was putting the money for my hair on her table and she said okay. She never mentioned that she was going to fix my hair for free. That night I sent her a picture of the extensions in my hair and showed her they did not match. She never responded. The next morning I told her I wanted to go back to what we originally had, she stated she planned on it. I went into work and my hair was so bad that my coworkers were stunned so my friend took me to her hairstylist during lunch to get an opinion. They were stunned as well and they trimmed my hair while I was there, no charge, and I made an appointment with them that night for color correction. Tammy had yet to give an appointment time to do our hair and it was three days until my wedding. I texted Tammy and told her I found someone else to do my hair. She responded by cussing at me. I was at work so I asked my mother to speak with her. She stated she never messed my hair up. She insulted my family by calling them names. She harassed me by sending me multiple messages and even called my work. She threatened to sue us if we "defame" her. This is disgusting and completely unprofessional.
Not applicable I would like the money I paid back and an apology. I paid her $40 the night she fried my hair and had to turn around and pay $100 to have it color corrected. If she would have done her job correctly to begin with I would not have had to pay for her to lighten it then for someone else to fix it. Additionally, I have the right to post a public review for services rendered and she has no right to threaten to sue someone for that.
