The Bike Exchange Reviews (%countItem)

Ordered custom bike. Bike was delivered. Temporary plates have expired. They did not send paperwork to DMV. Now will not pay for the TT&L
I purchased a custom built Harley Davidson. The process began on 5/15/2019. I financed the bike and the TT&L was included in the financed amount. The bike was delviered to us in Louisiana on 7/20/19. We were informed by Steven H and Lee G that they were working on the paperwork, but their story changed several times throughout the process. The temporary plates expired in 8/2019 and we still have not got the registration and plates. On 9/30/19, I contacted STeve questioning the status of everything. He informed me that the person that normally handles this had left and that Lee was handling it now. I contacted Lee and provided him the address to the DMV in Columbia, La per his request. Then on 10/2/19, he told me that he thought it went to the Baton Rouge, La DMV. On 10/7/19, I contacted Lee as I still had heard nothing from the DMV. He informed me that Steve was now handling it and that I would need to contact him. I contacted Steve and he told me that he would overnight the paperwork to me and that I would need to take it to the DMV and take care of it. He said that he would reimburse me the cost on my credit card once I had paid for everything at the DMV. On 10/8/19, I contacted Steve and informed him that I would need him to send me the money for the DMV because I did not have the amount that it would require on my credit card. He said that he would reimbuirse me 100%. I again explained that I did not have the money to cover the cost and I would need him to send it to me since I had already paid the money to them at time of financing. He sent me a screen shot of the fed ex package that he was overnighting to me. We never recieved the package and could not track it. My husband called fed ex a few days later and was informed that the wrong zip code was placed on the package and that was why we had not received it. Steve did correct this, although not timely, and sent it out. My husband took the paperwork to the DMV and was informed of the cost that we were responsible for. This included late fees since it took so long for them to send out the paperwork. We were quoted a price of $3664.08 that was due and that they would need notarized paperwork with the delivery date. When my husband informed Steve of this, he was very rude and said that it should not cost this much. Steve spoke with the lady at the DMV and informed her that he would take care of the paperwork that they were now needing and would over night this to her. He has never sent anything since then. Now, Lee nor Steve will answer our calls or texts to their cell phones nor with The Bike Exchange answer our calls. They have blocked me on their *** page which will not allow me to contact them through a *** message which I was able to do at the time of purchase. We have been trying to contact them for a month and they will not respond. We have contacted an attorney in Louisiana who states that we would have to contact an attorney in North Carolina if we wanted to pursue this with an attorney or we will have to just pay for it out of pocket. We have now contacted an attorney in North Carolina. We just want the money that we paid for TT&L as well as the late fees. We are paying monthly notes of $600 for a motocycle that we can not ride due to not having current license plates and registration. I am attaching all paperwork that I have.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking the amount that was financed in for the TT&L as well as all late fees that have accrued while waiting for this to be handled. The amount that was due to the DMV in October was $3664.08, but the amount will exceed this amount when paid due to more late fees being applied as time passes.

They sold me a motorcycle trike with a damaged clutch and a bad battery . This has been verified by the *** dealership. All I asked is they pay for the cost of the new Harley clutch, and the battery. The bill for the two parts was over $600.00 and I asked them to pay me $500.00 as a fair settlement. I believe that is a fair deal if you they are honorable enough to stand behind what theyI will I sent a picture of the bill of sale from *** . I was also told that no vehicle is sold unless the vehicle goes through their shop and is thoroughly gone over. This did not happen!
Product_Or_Service: Motorcycle Trike

Desired Outcome

Refund $500.00 for a $600.00 plus bill for defective parts!
