Mrs. [redacted]'s complaint of the job "not finished" seems to be unfounded due to the fact, we had a scheduled appointment, and no one was home. I left message and she has yet to call me back. Furthermore she has yet to return my flashlight that was left on her work bench in the cellar. This light...

is worth a considerable amount of money, and I would like it returned. Dealing with her issue of our company not showing up as scheduled, that also is not a totally accurate statement. As I explained to Mrs. [redacted] when she set up the "after 5 PM appointments," that it was complicated to do. Looking at it from a service persons perspective there is no back up from the office because everyone has gone home for the day. So if you become delayed on just one job for any reason, it will mess up your schedule for the rest of the day. Thus the reason why most service companies give a 4 hour window of when they will show up. Not to mention with no back up from any office personnel, a service guy does not have time to stop and make a Yi hour worth of phone calls when day light is burning. When you're working, 5 pm hits and before you know it is too dark to work. She seemed to understand this at the time, and apparently for her it was worth the risk. She did not have anyone to open up the house during the day while they were working and as she stated that they would be home anyway just putting kids to bed. Please keep in mind, even though we had the freedom of showing up at the house between 5 and whenever to work, it still is pretty rude to show up to anyone's house after 9 pm. The night that Mrs. [redacted] seems to be complaining about, we were working just down the street. Out of respect, we purposely chose not to show up and wake up the house. Dealing with the accusation I was rude to Mr. [redacted] on the phone. I guess that is all a matter of perception. But once Mr. [redacted] understood the issues with the "after 5 appointments" he scheduled another appointment to finish job. Please keep in mind, the bees were already eliminated, it was just a matter of scraping nest from a sill plate into a garbage bag. It would had amounted to 5 minutes work. As scheduled, I showed up, on time. When I realized no one was home, I waited. My customer never showed up. I left message in the door for her to please call me, and they never did. With the uncomfortable conversations we have had, we just assumed they took care of throwing the nest away themselves, and our office closed the job. Finally, if Mrs. [redacted] would like her nest removed, we will be more than happy to do that. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to do it after hours.
