The complaint is validDesserts for our buffets are prepped and portioned in the days leading up to a buffetThe wedding desserts that were not consumed at the reception were in fact put out on the buffet line by the cook
responsible for setting the buffetThat cook had no idea where these particular desserts came from, as we vary our desserts regularlyWhen it was pointed out by guests that these desserts were in fact from the wedding reception they were immediately removed boxed and returned to the bridal partyAlthough unconfirmed, staff on site at the time may have attempted to excuse what occurred without verifying the factsThe desserts were originally purchased by the bridal party for the reception on FridayAlbeit a clear breakdown of communication amongst our kitchen staff, it was an honest mistake and corrective action was taken immediatelyWe regret this unfortunate circumstance and have put in place processes to insure proper communications in the future
