Review: The first time I ordered from that restaurant through [redacted] Service I paid over $60 for my order, which was missing an entree and side item. There was no manager on duty that night. I called the restaurant myself prior to the order being made and I was told by the bartender, [redacted], that the order would be perfect. [redacted] told me that my next order would be perfect. I contacted [redacted] 2 weeks later after speaking to a bartender named [redacted], who told me that this $60+ order would be perfect. Again, main course and dessert items were missing. Again, I called [redacted] at the restaurant and he peomised that this would never happen again. There is NO manager at that restaurant. The third time I called there before contacting [redacted], I spoke to still another bartender, [redacted], who was very rude and who called me a "Street Person" who was trying to get something for nothing. After we had argued for a while, [redacted] said that I could drive there and pick up a $50.00 gift certificate if I came that night. I told her that I am permanently disabled, which was the reason I had been making orders through [redacted]. She refused to answer afterwards. On that same night I spoke with [redacted] at [redacted], and he told me that even if Blues Barbeque made up for over $50.00 which I had lost, he was not going to make any [redacted] to me from the restaurant. He quit [redacted] that night. I am not a Street Person. I take offense to having been called that by these obnoxious ne'er do wells called Bartenders at that place. I have a Masters degree in Geology from the UT at Austin, and I worked for 25 years in Houston and Dallas as an oil company Geologist and later here in Roanoke for almost 20 years as teacher before becoming ill. Why do they not have a manager? Where is the owner? I've called 12 time since that night 2 weeks ago and people like '[redacted]' and '[redacted]' have either told me that it was none of my business, or that I should not even bother calling if I was unhappy. Today the bartender was out jumping a car.Desired Settlement: I want $50.00 in cash. I also want this letter permanently placed on file for other disabled people who make the mistake of even thinking of patronizing that restaurant. No one is in charge there. Everyone refused to give me the owner's name. My friend works for the U.S. government, and gave me the information within minutes. The person's name and address are: [redacted]Please inform him that we will go to court.

I am the General Manager of Blues BBQ Co.first off I would like to apologize for the bad experience and misunderstandings with Ms. [redacted]. I spoke to [redacted] myself however her complaint was that she did not receive her Banana pudding with a order placed two weeks prior to our conservation She never stated she was missing anything other than the pudding to me or any of the other Managers or servers she spoke to. she stated that she spoke with [redacted] who is also a manager and [redacted] offered to either reimburse or replace the entire order that was missing the pudding. Ms. [redacted] stated that she would just like to have a large salad that night with lots of extra items cucumbers, red onion ect. as she didn't like our normal side salad with just tomatoes and cheese. She stated [redacted] sent her a wonderful Salad that night but on her next order [redacted] Manager on duty did not send the same salad with all the extra items just a normal side salad. I apologized and Stated she should remind [redacted] the [redacted] service to check her order before leaving the restaurant on future orders. I also let her know that on a Friday or Saturday nights were very busy the person taking her order would not always be the one making her salad. I stated that once the order left the restaurant we had no way of knowing if a mistake was made and if her items were delivered to someone else but mistake. [redacted] my Assistant Manager did speak to Ms. [redacted] as well later that night after [redacted] refused to deliver to her and offered her a Gift Card that she could pick up here at the restaurant not knowing that Ms. [redacted] was disabled. She did not call her a street person she stated that we did not just give out Gift Cards to just anyone off the street and she should come in and get it ! As to never having a manager here at the restaurant We have three managers one on each shift plus our Bartenders are always managers on duty. We have a great relationship with [redacted] the local [redacted] service and this is the only complaint we have received in over a year we have been using them. After speaking with [redacted] we learned that Ms. [redacted] has made similar complaints against other local restaurants they deliver for. We do all make mistakes and We never hesitatet to try and make our customers happy. we have mailed a check to Ms. [redacted] for $60.00 and Hope she has better luck in the future.Thank you[redacted] Gen Manager

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have not received this so-called check to date. I feel that this complaint should remain open until I receive the check and cash it to determine whether it is even valid. Also, it's too bad that this 'General Manager' whose name I had never heard and who never even bothered calling me after I had made so many calls to the restaurant, suddenly came from out of nowhere and filled her response with lies. Eventually, they will slip up again, but it won't be with me.In conclusion, I am again stating that I do not want this complaint canceled until I have received and cashed this supposedly mailed check.
