The Bluffs Apts at Northwoods

Air conditioning unit has been halfway operational since July 1st. Repair has yet to be made, even though several technicians have been out.
On July 1st my air conditioning unit stopped blowing cold air. I instantly went online to put in a repair request. I was away on vacation, but I had someone checking on my apartment. On July 2, they went to check and the apartment was almost 95 degrees. I checked online and saw that the ticket had been closed saying repair completed. So I had someone go to the office face to face. They sent someone back out, got the air working for a few hours, and then it stopped working again. Next day, same ordeal, maintenance came back out, temporarily resolved the issue but by the end of the day the air conditioning unit was out of service again. One one occasion, we went to the leasing office and the manager told us that they didn't have anyone to send because the employees they had were only temp employees and they didn't know what they were doing. I called the office again and another request was put in. Same thing happened. I returned from vacation on Friday July 6, to a hot apartment, although someone had been there that day to "fix" the problem. The office is closed over the weekend so I spent the weekend away from my apartment because it was too hot to stay there, I stayed with a relative. On Monday morning, I called the office and they sent a maintenance man right away. He came in and said that they told him to check the breaker so he came and switched the breaker back on and the air started working. Finally, we have a resolution, or so I thought. After a few hours, the breaker tripped again. I told the maintenance man that if a breaker keeps tripping, there is another underlying issue that needs to be resolved. He told me that he would go check it outside and he never returned. AT this point I was fed up. I have had several visits about the same issue and it still remains unfixed. Sure we can switch the breaker on when we are home, but that isn't fixing the problem, it's merely putting a band-aid on a wound that needs stitches. They refuse to fix the underlying issue, I'm assuming because they would have to call an outside person and it would cost them money. I have been severely inconvenienced by this issue with temperatures outside reaching almost 100. I have been losing sleep, coming home to a hot apartment almost everyday after work, and I work outside so that's not a good feeling. The breaker trips usually every 4 hours or so, so I usually wake up sweating profusely in the middle of the night, which interferes with my work because I go to work tired because I have to constantly turn the breaker back on. It's not my job and I shouldn't have to do that at all. Not to mention, when a breaker trips it's an indication of an overload of some sort, a situation that could be potentially dangerous. The maintenance man as well as the front office is well aware of the issue and have yet to correct it.
