Review: I [redacted] (Power of Attorney and daughter) of the homeowner [redacted], contracted with Jennifer B[redacted] of The Bomba Group to evict tenants from my mother [redacted]'s Cleveland, Ohio property. She may have started this process but she admitted from her own mouth that she did not follow through but my mother was charged $500 to evict the delinquent tenants. Jennifer Bomba has refused to return any of the monies that mother was charged. I have been assigned by [redacted] to handle the matters concerning her home and spent much time in trying to secure a company that would handle this matter because we reside in the Columbus, Oh area (2 and half hours away). From the conversations that I had with Jennifer, I thought her to be competent and knowledgeable and of all the companies that I could have chosen, I felt that Jennifer would handle this in a timely matter.Months had passed and mother questioned me several times as to what was going on with the property? I tried to contact Jennifer many times to receive a refund and it came to the point that she refused to answer my phone calls. However, after calling her on a number that she would not recognize, she answered her phone on Thursday Aug. 27th and after a lengthy discussion with Jennifer, she adamantly voiced that there would be no refund!!! Mother and I had entrusted Jennifer to evict the tenants and Jennifer was confident that she could sell the property and that it was worth trying to re-coop some profit. She did not follow through on any thing that we discussed. It appears that she attempted to evict but she did admit to me that she did not follow through. I ended up making 4 trips to Cleveland in this eviction process, that is how I know what Jennifer did not do! I feel strongly that she has taken this situation to her advantage. After many months passed by mother just wanted to unload the property by just signing it over to Jennifer but mother changed her mind and did not want to just give it away.Desired Settlement: We are peaceful people and simply just want a refund of $500.
