He took my $1300 deposit and I got NOTHING from him. He stop answering emails and I still hasn't heard from him. It's been over a year. If you cherish your money.. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THE BR LAB.. ITS A SCAM

IVE PAID JUAN B. THE OWNER OF THE BR LAB TO HAVE A WEBSITE COMPLETED JUNE 6, 2020 AS OF TODAY OCT 22,2020 I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE COMPLETED PROJECT . ALL BUSINESS NUMBERS ARE NON WORKING AND THE COMPANY NEVER RESPONDS TO EMAIL INQUIRES . PROJECT WAS CONTRACTED TO BE FINISHED WITHIN 3-6WEEKS OF PAYMENT ITS IS NOW BEYOND THIS TIME FRAME . I HAVE REQUESTED A REFUND VIA EMAIL AND STILL NO COMMUNICATION. UPON MY RESEARCH I HAVE FOUND A TON OF OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE WENT EXPERIENCED THIS SAME FRAUDULENT SERVICE . I HAVE ALL PROOF OF COMMUNICATIONS AND CONTRACT TO SINCE START OF PROJECT.

I paid the BR Lab to complete logo and website services back in Sept 2019. The logo was completed but there was some delay, I had to nag for the final product. For personal reasons I stepped away from my project for about 3mos. I emails the BR Lab to resume services and we picked up where we left off. I sent him all the information he requested. and months go by and no update or responses to my email. Aug 2020 he emails me saying my website draft would be ready no later than August 14th 6pm. That came and no draft was sent. I emailed a week later asking for an update and nothing. I emailed again and got a kickback message saying updates for projects is directed to someone else and listed the email. This whole time Juan has been my point of contact. I emailed the email listed for updates 2 times, no response. We are now in October 2020 and still no website draft or response. I emailed Juan and copied the other email demanding an update and no answer still.

I have not heard from this company since I’ve submitted my six hundred dollar down payment. I’ve sent several email and attempted to make calls. One has return my called or email. I was told my website would be completed in six weeks and nothing. I filed a complaint with my business banking. I’ve filed state and federal fraudulent charges and contacted the New Jersey State to have their business license revoked. I would for USDOD and I specialize is Cyber criminal acts. They’ve scammed the wrong citizen.

On July 29th 2020 I purchased a product design from The BR Lab. After giving me confirmation that he could do my design I paid. After payment he never responded so I messaged him to ask him if he received my payment and he said he received it. Almost 2 months have passed and he has not sent my product to me. I messaged him September 3 asking for a status of my design and he never responded. Almost a week later I sent him another message asking the same question and he did not respond. I decided to message him on my personal email instead of my business email pretending like I wanted to inquire about a product design as a new customer and he responded the next day. I would like to report him for fraud immediately and I want a full refund.

On 6/2/2020 I remitted half payment for social media services to be completed by Juan and his team. On 6/26/2020 I sent over requested pictures and specifications for the project to be completed. I was aware this would push back the delivery date. The expected completion date was for 7/31/2020. I reached out multiple times for updates on the following dates: 7/21/2020, 8/2/2020, 8/6/2020. 8/8/2020. Finally on 8/11/2020 I received an update from Juan B indicating I would receive an update no later than 8/14/2020 by 6pm EST. On 8/15/2020, I reached back out to Juan for an update and to no avail no response. I reached out to Shaniqua the project manager on 8/18/2020 and as of 8/21/2020 I still have not received a response.

I paid BR Lab to design the website for my company, which included an operational online store. BR Lab designed the website but did not complete the store (they refused to complete the project or return my emails and phone calls) and had to pay a different web designer to fix it. Now BR Lab is using my website on their website as their portfolio when they did not complete the website. It is a false claim for BR Lab to list my website as a completed project when they did not complete the website project.

TheBRLab.com Juan B [email protected] my deposit in the amount of $730.00 on December 31st 2019 .I have made several; calls to your company at *** on February 3rd 2020 , 5th , 7th , 10th, and the 18th and left numerus messages as of today no one has returned my calls nor , replied back to my emails I haven't heard anything trying to see where we stand and the status of my website , per contract states that my website will be completed within 3-6 weeks from the date , I hired your company December 31st 2019 with a start date February 3 2020 The BR Lab email address [email protected] . [email protected] is a fraud and scammed me out of my money in the amount of $730.00 is refusing to communicate and complete the contract per fraud gently sent to me our agreement and my deposit paid and requesting a refund of my money I paid your company in the amount of $730.00.

I contacted the BR lab initially in January to request a logo design. I sent the required fee of 125 dollars shortly after. I was told that I would be added to the calendar to start the logo design on January 15th 2020. The turn around for the logo design was 5-10 business days. On the 20th I received an email stating that my logo would be ready in 1-2 business days. I waited 2 business days in which I did not receive my logo so I reached out to the company via email on the 28th of January inquiring about it. I also sent the designer an email twice. The company responded on February 4th staying that the designer had been very sick the past two weeks and that they would either issue a refund, or I could wait until the 11th. I decided to wait until the 11th in which I still did not receive a logo design. I reached out to the company and designer February 12th and left a voice message and did not receive response or logo.

I paid $125 to the BR Lab to create a logo for my company on June 8, 2019 and I even signed a contract. I have yet to receive anything for this and they have not responded to my refund emails. I will be seeking a lawsuit because this company is obviously a scam.

On 3/19/2019, We hired Juan B owner of a website company called The Br Lab to construct a custom website for our salon company. We signed the contract and agreed to pay the amount of $1360 in two payments. The first payment of $680 was due at the time of hire on 3/19/2019 in which we paid. The contract states that they would have the website completed within 3-6 weeks from the date of hire of 3/19/2019. For months we were without a business website which cased us loss of revenue as our clients were not able to book their services online as usual. We attempted to contact Juan/The Br Lab and went weeks without any correspondence. When we did receive correspondence Juan continued to promise us a completed website each time but never delivered. On 07/25/2019 Juan sent an email stating the website preview link was ready for us to view. The homepage layout was beautiful but there weren’t any pages with our business information as agreed. Juan then stated we’d get the full completed website once the 2nd half of the payment of $680 was paid. On 07/27/2019 we paid the final payment. By August 2019 the website was still not completed. On 8/20/2019 we received an email from Juan stating that he would not be able to complete website. In return, we requested a full refund in which he told us to dispute it with our bank and he stated he would honor it. We have yet to receive a refund because he did not honor the dispute as stated. So we have escalated this matter to small claims court and to our attorney as Juan did not honor his own contract nor his words in writing in the email. The Br Lab scammed us out of $1360 and 6 months of loss business revenue, but yet they still are promoting their incomplete work they’ve done for our business on their social media page/Instagram as if they are trying to lure other businesses in to their online scheme. Juan/The Br Lab is very unprofessional, untrustworthy, dishonest, and a con artist.

In October of 2018, I entered into a contract with The BR Lab for the development of the logo for my business brand, *** I initially purchased one product (a logo), and the process worked very smoothly. I was in regular communications with the developers Juan B and William H throughout the process, and they were very responsive to my questions and concerns. Upon final delivery of the product, I was so pleased with the service that I decided to work with them to develop additional logos for the company, as well as to develop my website. On May 21, 2018, I made a partial payment, in the amount of $980, towards the development of my website, which secured the service until the final payment was due after the completion of the website. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, I had to push back the date the original website launch date, September 2018 , which the developers at The BR Lab kindly agreed to do. On October 5, 2018, I purchased two additional logos ($125 each). Each logo was guaranteed a 5-10 day turnaround, according to the guidelines and policy agreement. On the following dates, I reached out to the company to check the status of my products:
-November 7, 2018 – I sent an email inquiring about the status of the product. I received a reply on November 29, 2018 stating that the company was experiencing delays, and that I would receive my products by December 3, 2018
-December 10, 2018 – I sent another email inquiry, but I did not receive a response
-January 18, 2019 – I emailed the company once again about the status of the products. I received a response on January 19, 2019, in which I was informed that I would receive the products by January 30 2019
-February 7, 2019 - I emailed once again and received a response from Juan, Director of Development, on February 19, 2019, stating that he had been in a car accident and he needed time to get himself back to great health, but that it was possible that he could be back working in a week. He also stated that if I wanted a refund for the work that was not completed, that I could receive one.
-May 13, 2019 – After conceding to the fact that my products were not going to be delivered by The Br Lab, I sent an email requesting a chargeback for the products.
-July 6, 2019 – I sent a follow-up email and called on the telephone to request a status about the chargeback, at which time all communications from The BR Lab ceased.

On May 22, 2019, I paid Juan B, owner of The BR Labs, a creative website designing company a total of $1710 toward the creation of a website for my business, Everything Fruitcake. Per Juan's policy, the website would be delivered to me within 3-6 weeks. Despite numerous emails sending and resending the same info, and other emails stating my concerns regarding him not sending me a site layout for viewing, the website was not delivered after two months of going back and forth.

Finally, I eventually received responses to my emails where I expressed to Juan that we will not be moving forward with him designing a site for my business again as he was unreliable and was not able to deliver as stated. Juan agreed to refund me "all my monies" as of July 29th and that was the last communication I had from Juan B. At this point, I am making this complaint in the hopes of having my money refunded asap. Thank you!
