The Bramble Co

I purchased a large sideboard in September of 2017. In January, the first one came and the heavy distressing was just "weird." Nothing like the sample I chose. The color was off also. I returned it and ordered a different finish. I received the replacement today, July 13, 2018. It was supposed to be a stained a deep red with a mocha distressing. All they did was paint it red and put a light glaze. No distressing. On the front corner, the paint ran and left a bubble of paint. I paint nearly $3,000 for it. The quality is just not there. Had I seen it in a furniture store, I would not have bought it.

I visited the High Point market last spring with a designer some large furniture pieces from the furniture that the Bramble company had on display. I loved the pieces I saw there at market. Placed the order and 6 months later it arrived not representing the quality I saw in the showroom. Uneven drawers off scale, damaged areas that had been covered with different colors of white paint including some actual tape that had been painted over split areas of the wood. I was shocked. It took me three months to receive a refund (excluding the shipping) which required me calling on a weekly basis of being told that the check was on its way. I received a refund for one piece then was told "Oh, we did not know the other one was damaged also". Upon the last phone call I was told that the check would go out that day and that the employee made the comment that my refund was on the bottom of a large refund pile which was no surprise. There are some wonderful furniture products out there I just believe the Bramble furniture company did not represent its furniture product that was displayed at market.

We purchased/ordered a complete Dinning Room set on 12/08/15 and received it on 5/11/16. Bramble Co. prides themselves on handcrafted furniture. All I can say, is it's the worst quality I have ever seen. I honestly can not say one thing good about this product. For $4,500.00 I guess I am expecting to much. The good news the store I ordered it through felt the same way and gave me a full refund. Buyer Beware.
