A couple of weeks ago we (my fiancé and I) entered this establishment and the experience had room for improvement, to say the least. The staff was clearly not trained and there was a limited menu and not very many customers (about 10 or so). It was a game day so we accepted the limited menu. It took about an hour to receive the food we ordered (wings and buffalo chicken dip)which we took home. When we got home we noticed the wings were, not crunchy, which we blamed on the trip home. We then realized the wings were not cooked entirely. As a result we contracted food poisoning and had to take time off work.
After reviewing this business on various social media platforms we found other people have become sick from this restaurant. Their ratings were doing poorly and their business volume was slowing (we live above the bar). However, their rating when from dwindling to now almost five stars on every business platform. After doing more research we found their employees had manipulated the ratings in order for their reviews to look more pleasant than what I believe to be reality. This is maybe not an illegal one, but it is certainly an unethical business practice. One I do not wish to see in my community. When poor food safety standards(what I can only assume) and unethical business practice is implemented by a business it is dangerous to a community as a whole.
Refund We have been contacted by the manager and offer more food. More food is unacceptable seeing as how we both received food poisoning from the last time we ate there. We have not been offered a refund which at this point would partially resolve this matter. When we addressed the social media platforms he called my fiancé "aggressive" and has taken no further action to correct this very serious issue.
