Thank you for your message regarding [redacted] P was able to confirm that he called in and spoke to one of our Customer Experience Group agents on April 14, [redacted] was requesting that we send him a replacement hand pendant for his lift purchased from our dealer, Superior Van & Mobility, on 8/1f [redacted] was advised that hand pendants are not covered under the BraunAbility limited warranty[redacted] was referred to a BraunAbllity dealer to purchase a replacement pendant, as we do not direct sell to end customers; our parts are only attainable through our dealer networkAlthough the hand pendant is not a warranty covered Item we are willing to make a one-time exception as a customer satisfaction and send a hand pendant out since he believes It was damaged when he received his lift in In order for us to assist with this, [redacted] will need to route his request through Superiorvan & Mobility (or another authorized dealer) and they will need to order the part for himHe can reference case $with Superior Van & Mobility and they will be able to contact our call center to confirm that this exception has been approvedPlease let me know if I can be of further assistanceSincerely, Elaine [redacted] Customer Experience Group Manager ph: [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The solution offered by Braun is unacceptable Relocating the spare tire and using a seat belt extender will not properly secure a person sitting in that position I have demonstrated to Braun's local dealership (Carolina Mobility, Charlotte, NC) that that option will not work even with the spare tire completely removed This was shown to Kevin (service manager) and Angel (general manager) We added this $option because we need the extra two seats it provided The purpose of the wheelchair conversion is to allow our wheelchair bound daughter the ability to travel with her whole family Since the 2-person bench can only safely carry one, we have to resort to two vehicles Being able to include our daughter in all of our activities is very important to us and we will do everything we can to get full use of all features we paid for.I have attached picture to illustrate the issue I will also send a copy of the written report from a local police officer once it is mailed He is a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician at our local BUCKLEUPNC.ORG location As it stands now, the rear seat does not meet the requirements of NHTSA FMVSS and Regards, [redacted]

We have received your notice that Mr. [redacted] found our response to complaint ID [redacted] unacceptable. After further review our response remains the same, as we cannot endorse any product that we have not tested. We will be willing to pay our dealership, Carolina Mobility, to remove the seat. We will also reimburse Mr. [redacted] for the full price he paid for the seat. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns and if Mr. [redacted] finds this offer acceptable. We have received the complaint notice regarding Mr*** ***We have thoroughly reviewed his concerns and believe that we've addressed them to the best of our
abilityWe can only recommend that customers use the original Dodge shoulder seat belts that have been tested by Dodge and by Braun for this seat applicationWe have sent an extension as a goodwill gesture, which is a Dodge part that should allow for further adjustability with the seat beltDue to safety concerns, we do not recommend any other aftermarket seat belts be used on this vehicleWe have also evaluated the request made for Braun to replace the current seat with an FMS Seating Model We cannot support the install of this seat, as it will not pass or pull testingI've enclosed the letter that was sent to Mr*** prior to us receiving your noticeI think you'll see that we've done everything possible to help this customerAs a manufacturer we can only recommend applications that we've testedPlease let me know if you have any further questions or concerns

Although the hand pendant is not a warranty covered Item we are willing to make a one-time exception as a customer satisfaction and send a hand pendant out since he believes It was damaged when he received his lift in 2014. In order for us to assist with this, [redacted] will need to route his request through Superiorvan & Mobility (or another authorized dealer) and they will need to order the part for him. He can reference case $414469 with Superior Van & Mobility and they will be able to contact our call center to confirm that this exception has been approved.
