Upon check in, we were advised it was a $hold for deposit the clerk did not provide paperwork at check in or checkout This issues has nothing to do with my bank and the hold time it does however have everything to do with the dishonesty of the hotel I am not accepting their response

holding amount. This is a normal business practice of the banks and we are not able to speed any process. [redacted] was asked to wait for 5 business days the the hold to fall off automatically. In our registration card we have a clause that the guest must initial, saying that $25.00 extra will be held on the credit card and the funds will be inaccessible immediately. By now I am sure the bank has removed the hold on the $25.00 and the guest is able to use that amount. Thank you,

  I don't have the statements that are for any other amount than the charge they state however I go by the honor system that's all Southerners do it and what they said is not what they did that is my problem but I will make sure that every person that I know of and I've already had several that go to New York don't stay at their hotel.
