Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:My complaint has not been resolved due to the following facts;
I have *** health insurance, *** is a *** *** insurance company and my main provider for mental health insurance is *** ***. United Behavioral Health is under the *** *** Coverage. The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice website lists *** *** and *** *** *** as insurances that they accept. My insurance company informed me that The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice does not have a contract with *** *** or *** *** ***They also can see if The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice ever had existing contracts, and they never had a contract with *** *** or United Behavioral Health Jamel Burroughs cla*** to have United Behavioral Health but has not provided me with the proper benefit code. If I was able to provide the proper benefit code to my insurance company, my claim would be able to processed as “in-network” instead of “out of network”. I was only told that Carla M*** does not work for The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice until after my claim was processed out of network. During my sessions when I inquired about insurance, Carla M*** referred me to speak to MsFrazier because she (Carla M***) does not handle insurance. MsFrazier explained to me that The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice accepts *** ***e. If The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice accepts *** ***e and United Behavioral Health, why is it that both *** ***e and United Behavioral Health never showed having contracts with this practice? I never filled out any paperwork with The Burroughs Psychotherapy PracticeIt is highly unethical to present on a website in which the public can view, insurances that are truly not acceptedCarla M*** explained she only rents a space in the practice, yet she is listed as a Therapist on The Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice website It is advertisement when you list on your website your practice accepts the following insurances; *** *** and *** *** ***, and you have a therapist who does not work for your practiceIt alludes to the fact that a client will have coverage, when in reality they will not be covered because Carla M*** does not work for The Burroughs Psychotherapy practice On the Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice website, it does not state anywhere that Carla M*** does not work for the practice, and if you proceed to have sessions with her, you will not have coverage I have never discredited the services renderedI explained to Jamel B*** in my first email that “I am not discrediting the therapy I received, however I would have not continued to attend your practice if I knew that my insurance was not accepted and I was seeing a therapist that does not work for the Burroughs Psychotherapy PracticeI have insurance and it does not make sense for me to spend over two thousand dollars of my hard earned money ontherapy.” I know the words that I speak are true and not slanderous so I am fine with you, Jamel B*** proceeding with legal action. I have never called Jamel B*** I have only contacted him via email and explained that he could call me if he was confused by my emailI have the emails to prove, and I would like for Jamel B*** to prove with phone records as to when I called him
Sincerely,*** ***

This will be my final response to the allegation presented by *** ***. As stated numerous times, I, MrJamel B***, LCSW of the Burroughs Psychotherapy Pracitce is a provided for *** *** *** *** ***I have had an active contract with *** *** *** Insurance since 2003. I see many other members from this insurance company. My website is indeed accurate and I am not advertising information. I can show evidence of my contract with *** *** *** upon request in a court of law As *** *** reported previously, she has a $3,deductible, which she has not been meetIt does not appear that *** *** understands what is meant by a deductibleA deductible is the amount a member must first spend before the insurance company will reimburse for servicesTherefore, after she pays a total of $dollars out of pocket expenses, then the insurance company would pay her for the monies spentAccording to *** *** she has spent less than the $3,000. As a courtesy, I spoke with MsM*** (her therapist) who stated that she submitted the billing code information to *** *** insurance companyIf the code was incorrect *** *** should follow up with MsM*** and not me, for I did not supply the service, therefore I am not responsible for any paperwork. All of this was explained to her prior to treatment with MsM*** The bottom line is that *** *** must meet her deductible in order to be reimbursed by her insurance companyIf their are any issues with billing codes then she needs to follow up with her therapist whom she paid to correct the issueI provided the office space and clinical supervision to MsM***When clients' pay the therapist directly for services, I dont get involved in the money issueIf there is a problem with treatment regarding ethical behavior of the therapist, then I get involved in those issues. *** *** was satisfied with services as evident by the email I received I truly wish her all the best and this response will serve as my final response -- Kind Regards,
