I have run this and every business I have ever owned in a professional and straight forward mannerThe expectations of the customer are posted on the front page of my website and our procedures and protocol are also postedThis is a simple petty family member seeking special treatment because she is my wife's nieceAnyone, and I mean anyone, that makes a reservation and does not call or attend the class is preventing me from selling that seat to someone elseIt is Groupon's as well as our policy to redeem the coupon for all "no call, no show"'sHow I used the vacant seat is at my discretionI will not be badgered by innuendo's and petty action's of an obviously spoiled individual who it seems to be used to getting her wayThis will be my final statements concerning this incident and no further action will be takenG [redacted] W [redacted] , owner

Someone from my work actually made the reservationI had gotten very sick and could not make it I did not realize they had my name I assumed they only had a number/count since it was a large group, so no I did not call the business I am confused as to why he redeemed it when it doesn't expire until September 10th He didn't give me a chance to reschedule to use it

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. His response speaks volumes about the kind of person he is and the kind of business he runsI have been professional throughout this process while he makes personal attacksHis response is totally inappropriate, unprofessional and uncalled forThere is no interest from the business in a resolution, only personal attacks and name calling from what is supposed to be a professional business

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12339612, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. His response is totally different than what he communicated in the emails, he plainly stated in the emails that he redeemed my Groupon for someone elseI believe his responses show how poorly this business handles issues and shows that the business is in the wrong. The personal attack on me is petty and demonstrates the kind of person he is and is indicative of how the business is run

I have run this and every business I have ever owned in a professional and straight forward manner. The expectations of the customer are posted on the front page of my website and our procedures and protocol are also posted. This is a simple petty family member seeking special treatment because she is my wife's niece. Anyone, and I mean anyone, that makes a reservation and does not call or attend the class is preventing me from selling that seat to someone else. It is Groupon's as well as our policy to redeem the coupon for all "no call, no show"'s. How I used the vacant seat is at my discretion. I will not be badgered by false innuendo's and petty action's of an obviously spoiled individual who it seems to be used to getting her way. This will be my final statements concerning this incident and no further action will be taken. G[redacted], owner

Someone from my work actually made the reservation. I had gotten very sick and could not make it.  I did not realize they had my name.  I assumed they only had a number/count since it was a large group, so no I did not call the business.  I am confused as to why he redeemed it when it doesn't expire until September 10th.  He didn't give me a chance to reschedule to use it.

Mrs. R[redacted] did purchase a Groupon from Groupon and not us. We are merely an agent for Groupon and follow their guidelines. As plainly stated on the front page of our website, all "no call, no show"s" will be subject to a $10 reschedule fee. As per our campaign manager at Groupon, anyone that makes a...

reservation request for a class and does call or reschedule for that class, the coupon is to be redeemed. In this case, Mrs. R[redacted] made a reservation request, did not notify us prior to the class that she would not be attending, so I redeemed the coupon. Well after the coupon was redeemed, I allowed another young lady to use her seat, not in any way connected to Mrs. R[redacted]'s coupon, but because I had a vacant seat. I do not see the validity of her complaint and wish to have it stricken from my perfect record. As far as refunding her the $17 that she paid Groupon, it will not happen. I am not going to refund what I did not sell. I'm sorry that Mrs. R[redacted] cannot read or follow written directions, but I will not be held accountable for her shortcomings.  Adamently, G[redacted] W[redacted], owner Cabernet Canvas, LLC
