Complainant is correct in that a statement with zero balance was sent on 11/29/because at that time this was correct However the payment they made online was returned by the bank which was discovered after the initial statement was provided It was corrected and we contacted *** by phone to inform him that a new balance was due now and that an NSF fee was added [redacted] was provided a day time frame to pay, but on 12/28/no payment was received and the account was sent to collections The debt is owed since Dec and since this was an online payment, there is no returned check to show Complainant can verify with their bank that no payment was received by the property, and as such the amount including the NSF fee is due We have informed the complainant that upon payment of the total amount due, we can stop collection efforts and update the credit bureau to show balance fully paid Thank youMorgan ***-M***Senior Regional Property ManagerThe Cameron Apartments
