I have absolutely no issue with the way Camping Companies interacted with me. They were very understanding and patient. Look, I got myself into a situation where my car had to be repoed. But that all means little in this review. Unfortunately, when my car was emptied out (they put your belongings into a bag) my ipod was stolen. It was attached to the cable and my stereo ran off it. The cable was returned, but no ipod. They give you a paper with some items listed on it, but it's difficult to remember everything that was in the car in the instance that you checked what was in the bags. That is my fault; I wish I had remembered the ipod but I forgot it's even there since I never removed it. As nice as they were to me, any company that employs a thief that steals from customers gets zero stars in my book. I will be contacting the company that holds my auto loan to urge them to not use Camping Companies. I will also be contacting the Revdex.com regarding this matter.

The company closes at 4 on a Friday. making it impossible to retrieve items. House keys amd a car seat for a small infant were inside and I was denied access to retrieve and was told the keys were already placed in a drop box even though the driver left 10 minutes prior to a location thats at least 45 min from the location of the car in pound. The provide horrible customer service and speak rudely.They steal from and need to be shut down asap and fined. Will be pursuing legal options at this time.

We have again reviewed this complaint and the claims that Ms. [redacted] is making.  Her claims that our company does not "care" what happens to the property and vehicles we repossess are false.  We recover hundreds of vehicles per month for many reputable finance companies and I can assure you we tow all vehicles professionally and handle all personal property with care.  After speaking with our staff and reviewing the claimed damages we again have determined that the damages were pre-existing and were not caused by our company.  Therefore we cannot take any responsibility for the damages she is claiming.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My seat belt .. (Driver side) was pulled out, stained and distorted. I also found my navigation disc thrown in a big blue bag and scratched. They totally DO NOT care for others property. My iPhone was also cracked and thrown into a big blue bag ..then they put they dirty big blue bag onto my clean seats. And stained the leather! Also, I have a door ding on drivers side that WAS NOT there prior to repo. I am very meticulous with my car and get my car detailed and go over every little rock ding (very rare) with my dealership. office staff concerning the towing of this vehicle. Our driver maintains that no damage was done by our tow truck during the tow, and that the vehicle was towed properly and handled professionally.
