I was mislead by [redacted] and [redacted] *** regarding a $50,annuity for my mother who is elderlyThey informed me I could help supplement her long term care by investing her money under my name in a year annuity that had a 7% sign on bonus and that I could get all the money out in two years with no penalty or taxesIt turned out they attached my mothers money to a year annuity with a 19,5% penalty to get it out in two yearsI was grossly mislead into an investment for my elderly motherWhen I called The Capital Preservation Group three times and left message for [redacted] with my concerns I never received a call backI am seeking resolve through the insurance company they misrepresentedI feel my mother and I were preyed upon by this company and hope others who may have been misguided step forward

In 2014, I purchase an Annuity thru Capital Preservation Group. When [redacted] sat down with me to discuss this annuity, he rushed me thru it and was vague on how it worked. He did not disclose certain particulars about this Annuity. When I recieved the contract 18 days later he did not sit down with me and go thru the contract page by page to explain how it worked. The contract stated that I had 20 days to review it from the date of purchase. At the time I recieved it I had only 2 days to review it before changing my mind about keeping it. My issue with this Capital Preservation group is that I am questioning their ethics and practices. Their habit of not explaining to customers in detail what someone is purchasing and that they are rushing people to purchase something without fully explaining what is being sold to them.

I was mislead by [redacted] and [redacted] regarding a $50,000. annuity for my mother who is elderly. They informed me I could help supplement her long term care by investing her money under my name in a 2 year annuity that had a 7% sign on bonus and that I could get all the money out in two years with no penalty or taxes. It turned out they attached my mothers money to a 16 year annuity with a 19,5% penalty to get it out in two years. I was grossly mislead into an investment for my elderly mother. When I called The Capital Preservation Group three times and left message for [redacted] with my concerns I never received a call back. I am seeking resolve through the insurance company they misrepresented. I feel my mother and I were preyed upon by this company and hope others who may have been misguided step forward.
