I appreciate being able to go to a car dealer who is not only honest but family-oriented with great integrity and this is why I've been a loyal customer for over years with The Car GuysMy last car I bought from them I am still driving 9+ years later but going on its last year or two so will be contacting them again for a new used vehicleTrustworthiness in buying a used car is worth everything-your job-your confidence on the road, and the honesty of the family dealership itself would bring me back when I buy my next 10-year vehicle from them! I have bought over cars from this company, and I hope they do great in their new location! Thanks so much for being a "real" honest wholesale car dealer! You'll see me again!

Great place all aroundLee really cared about getting me the best deal and a great vehicleWould never go anywhere else for now on! Don't forget to ask for LEE he is AMAZING!!!!

We are happy to remedy any issues as long as it agrees with the membership agreementAgreements keep everyone on the same page on how to operate and we intend to follow this as our guideline for this case as wellPlease know we currently outsource our billing to a financial company so we can simply focus on servicing the members at the clubIt sounds like this members needs to complete the cancelation process as agreed and explained by *** Financial servicesThe state of WV prefers we do rear month billing for services so that is what we are doingThis practice guarantees the members gets service and then pays for service after service was providedI believe we provided good services that is alignment with the contract we all agreed toCancelation Policy should be maintained and process should be followed in this case

MrPollock,I informed the Car Guys as soon as I knew what I was dealing with I knew that any complaint regarding the truck in the four (4) weeks it was in my possession would have more credibility if they were analyzed by a mechanic(s) The 9/30/letter did that They had the opportunity then to (in their own words) “have done their best to resolve the situation to the customer’s satisfaction” Unfortunately, rather than present a workable solution they chose to place blame on the driver and deny any wrong doing Their resistance only resulted in more cost of repairs However, if they are sincere about resolving the situation to the customer’s satisfaction, then why not now? To “target” the mechanic shops doing the repairs is unprofessional and lacks credibility It is not conceivable that two independent mechanic shops, a [redacted] Dealership and a privately owned business, are to blame and the Car Guys are completely blamelessThe work performed was thoroughly discussed before repairs were done and work was well documented unlike that of the Car Guys The truck was delivered to me with the safety hazard, these shops merely found the problem and did the repair None of the repairs done had to be redone The Car Guys had two opportunities to fix the problems but, they persisted It rings hollow, when the Car Guys “express pride in their business and workmanship, inspect and repair vehicles before they are available for sale and if something is discovered after the sale, they do their best to make it right with our customer” This is not true in my case, their words are not supported by their actions However, if they are truly sincere that they take pride in their business and workmanship and they do their best to make it right with the customer it is conceivable that they would be open to compromise, so I’d like to propose that they reimburse me $and we call it even.Thank you[redacted]

[redacted] is a dealer whom purchased above referenced vehicle at [redacted] Fredericksburg Auto Auction, a Dealer Only AuctionThe vehicle was sold ! The complaintant is a new dealer and arbitrated this vehicle through the Auction Process thinking he could get some money back or something that would more benefit himThe vehicle is years old , an antique, and is not arbitraitable under the guidelinesThis is not a consumer issue but a dealer issueThis is a lack of education issue for this dealer and I would highly recommend this dealer read the auction guidelines or learn another industry

These guys are excellent at what they do!! I had an older Mercedes that needed a motor They installed it and got it back to me in working order very quicklyNot to mention the price was very fair as well! I'm telling everyone to go there for any of their car needs!!

A repair that wasn't fixed until the car broke down a second time
I had my car towed in to them after talking with the repairman about having issues with the wiring on my vehicle he assured me that they would diagnos find the problem and fix it but after I got the car back I noticed it wasn't fixed and after a day or two the same problem continued so I had it towed back to be fixed and the new repairman wants to charge me basically the same amount for the same job that was suppose to be performed the first timeThey won't answer any questions when you call put you on hold and then instead of admitting they made a mistake they acting like it was my fault that they diagnosis was wrong just fix the problem then they tell me that they had issues with the repairman and had to replace him but I shouldn't have to pay for someone else's mistakeThe bottom line was I took it in with a wiring issue they were guessing at how to repair it without doing the wiring and it didn't work and all I w

*** *** ** *** Jay Pollock,I received a complaint letter from the Revdex.com in regards to a *** *** that was sold to the customer on July
17th of This was an unfortunate situation for all parties involvedIt started with a *** *** ** that was purchased by the customer on June 4th of 2014, after her grandson had seized the motor in his *** ***The vehicle was sold in 100% good running condition on that day and was purchased for her grandson to driveRoughly three weeks after the sale, the vehicle was brought back to us with serious motor noise coming from the head of the engine and not running correctly as well as the clutch slippingAfter diagnosing the exact problem in our repair shop it was determined that multiple valves had been damaged from apparent abuse/neglect/over-revving to the vehicle, also explaining the worn out clutchThe grandson's stepfather, a return customer of ours, also confirmed that the grandson had been racing the carBecause of the nature of the the damage and the cause of the damage, the extended warranty that had been purchased would not cover the repairsTo appease the customer as best we could, we gave a premium trade in value for the vehicle, knowing it needed thousands of dollars in repairs, towards the purchase of the *** *** on July 17th, Immediately after purchasing the truck, the grandson drove it to northern Wyoming from our dealership in Loveland, ColoradoWe received a call a few hours after the sale indicating that the vehicle would not startWe asked the customer to have the truck towed back to our dealership so that we could fix it for her at no cost to herselfAfter it arrived, there was little apparently wrong as the truck started up and drove normallyThere was some minor motor noise coming from the timing case, so we proceeded to install a new timing chain kit and replaced the fuel pump and filter thinking that would eliminate any problem it may have hadWe also repaired a small oil leak from the oil pan that had been discovered and changed the oil/filter at that timeA couple weeks later the customer returned with similar problems, after diagnosis we discovered that the cam phaser gears were failing, so we replaced both cam phasers, again at no cost to the customerBefore returning the vehicle to customer, we test drove it for roughly miles to make sure no other issues would ariseWhen the truck was returned to the customer for the second time, it was in good running condition and all seemed wellTo our surprise, we received an email roughly six weeks after the latest repairs were performed by us, informing us that the customer had taken the vehicle to another shop where she had spent nearly $in repairs and the vehicle still had the same problemsAt that time she requested that we give her a full refund for her purchase as it was "in both of our best interest." As much as we felt bad for the problems that she had with the truck, we felt as though we had already gone over and above what is required of us and put over $in repairs to the vehicle after the sale in an attempt to remedy the situationBeing a small business we could not endure any more financial loss for what may very well have been another issue of neglect/abuse by the driver, which is what was explained to the customerWe do our best to be as helpful and fair to our customers as possible, but that is why all used vehicles in the state of Colorado are sold "As-Is." Again, an unfortunate situation for all parties involved and I hope the situation has come to better resolve for the customer since we last communicated.Regards,*** ***970-292-

*** *** *** *** ** *** Jay Pollock,As explained before and admitted by the customer, we attempted to repair the truck on two separate occasions at no cost to the customer after purchaseWhen the vehicle left here after the second repair was done, it was in good running conditionWe personally drove the vehicle home (about miles each way in town and highway driving) with no detectible problems of any kind just to make sure there were no major issues with the vehicleAfter the second time we repaired the vehicle, we did not hear any complaints or concerns about the vehicle from the customer for several weeksThen we received an email similar to the rebuttal letter recently sent to youShe sent a well organized list of dates, costs and repairs done to the vehicle at "reputable shops" with an ultimatum demanding that we give her either $14,for the truck, or $10,to make up the difference in the very low $travalue she was offered by another dealerShe also added in that letter "it is in both of our best interest that you carefully consider these options and honor my request." Had it been brought to our attention beforehand that the vehicle was still not operating properly, even after we had it repaired the second time, we would have done our best to resolve the situation to the customer's satisfactionWe do not respond well to threats and ultimatums; especially after being insulted and accused of "jerry-rigging" our repairs or simply lying about doing the repairsWe take pride in our business and our workWe do not intentionally sell vehicles that we know have major problemsWe inspect and repair our vehicles before they are ever available for saleAnd if something is discovered after the sale, we do our best to make it right with our customersWe have hundreds of satisfied customers that would confirm thatAt this point, we have done far more than we were ever required to do and all we are willing to do for this customerIt seems to me that some or all of the customer's frustrations would be better targeted at the shops that she has spent over $10,with and the problem is still not fixed.Sincerely,***

I was sold a Land Rover Range Rover that needed a transmission and the owner did not reveal this to me
The owner cashed my down payment check and was paid by the finance company and I never took delivery of the truckThe owner did not reveal that the truck needed a transmission until the police stopped by because of an complaint I madeSo in all he has been paid and I still have no truck and a payment is due next week on the truck

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
We did purchase this vehicle as is through *** Fredericksburg BASED on the seller’s disclosure which stated verbatim wording in original complaintA vehicle that “runs and drives like it came from the factory” does not grind when putting the transmission into gearThis is happening due to excessively worn parts internallyRunning and driving like cane from factory doesn’t have brakes that lock up when applyingTheir website stated “FULLY RESTORED.” A fully restored vehicle does not have dyed interior or exterior paint appearing as if someone did it in their back yard (literally paint is missing from panels)We do not request any money off, there is ZERO interest in keeping this unit as it was 100% misrepresentedFurthermore, we have been an independent dealer in Virginia over years and members of the Virginia Independent Auto Dealers Association the entire time where I, *** *** ***, currently serve as Chairman of the BoardWe are well aware of the industry along with the shadiness and deceit within itWe have never purchased a vehicle from this seller and would never do so again as we have experienced first hand they simply are not truthful sellers as proven hereBefore filing this official complaint I directly reached out to he seller for resolutionBefore pawning my call off to either his son or young male employee, he told me we would make $*-**k profit on this unitIf that is true, the seller should have absolutely no problem returning the unit and reselling for a higher priceIn closing, I did reach out to the MVDB who informed me to speak with a lawyerI have a call in to Pete with *** to discuss how he believes I should move forwardNot looking for a discount, not looking for trouble, only looking for the seller to return unit based on the fact their disclosure(s) was false.
