The Car Program

Review: I am a buyer with IAA under Business name MAA ENTERPRISES.On 08/31/2015 I purchased 2012 **a Optima with vin# [redacted] and Stock # [redacted].Car was advertised to run and drive, clear title and no issues was indicated on the car. When I received delivery of the car, the car had mechanical issues.Right after it was unloaded,you could hear a very loud cracking noise from the engine.I called and had the car towed to a **a Dealership and I was informed that the car had a Bad Engine which resulted from lack of maintenance.Thick Sludge in engine caused damage to the engine.We didn't drive the car,it still has the same exact miles it had when it was purchased. IAA Freemont Ca should have indicated Engine or mechanical problem on their page. The normal practice with all IAA Branches is to give buyers online as much information as possible to help them make good buying decision. On the top right and 6th line of the vehicle page, it shows any secondary issues the car may have. This line was blank. They Falsely advertised this car ,which is an unfair trade Practice ,it is deceitful. IAA Hartford Branch Has the same make ,model and yr of car for $4900 Stock# [redacted],they indicated mechanical issue, which is the normal practice with all IAA branches across the country. I paid $8178.00 for this car.The manager isn't trying to fix this issue and by all standard this is false advertisement and misleading.Kia Dealership indicated the this problem did not just occur.Car has not seen new oil in over a year.Desired Settlement: Since the car is 47000miles and still under factory warranty.I am seeking for the warranty to cover this repair. IAA can seek to work out a deal with the seller([redacted] to have their warranty cover for repairs.Or IAA can issues me a refund. Since I paid top dollar for this car based on information provided on IAA internet page.This information was false and deceitful.I have a report done by Kia dealership showing this was a preexisting mechanical fault.
