If I could give them less than one star, I would. It all started when I was on cars.com and saw a vehicle at this dealership that interested me. I emailed them to ask them if the vehicle was still available since I live an hour away. They quickly responded saying that they do and asked me when I plan on going. I didn't go the next day, but I did show up the day after (2 days later). Meanwhile, they are texting me and calling me each day since I emailed them asking when I was going to show up. So I show up to the lot and a lady comes out and hands me three keys to the cars of same make/model of the car I liked. I got into all three and neither one was the one they told me THREE times that they had. So after I realized that neither of those cars was the one I called about, I was angry. The lady called us over to her desk and mentioned that those three were the only ones they had left on the lot. I told her neither of those are of my concern because of the price and then she let us go. What kind of dealer was this lady? I have no idea. She wasn't willing to say she can work with us or anything like that. So after driving an hour for no reason, I ended up having to drive an hour back home. I am never going back to that place, and I hope no one ever does.

[redacted] purchased a used 2006 Mercury Montego for $4995. The vehicle was sold "As Is, No Rufunds, All Sales Final". [redacted] signed 4 documents acknowledging that fact and 1 document declining the purchase of a C.A.R.S. Protection Plus service contract. All 5 documents are attached. She...

signed and acknowledged the Disclosure of Know Defects which specially states any know defects and explains the vehicle is "an older vehicle with lots of miles and will need mechanical repairs". We made every attempt to orally explain and give written explanation of the vehicle's condition. Despite making it very clear that the vehicle is sold "as is", [redacted] returned to our lot complaining of the vehicle's performance. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic shop and over $1800 in repairs were done---AT OUR EXPENSE. We were not required to make ANY repairs to her vehicle, much less provide a loaner or reimburse her for a rental vehicle. We never made any verbal or written agreement to do so. Perhaps if [redacted] had purchased a NEW Mercury, the NEW dealership may have provided a loaner while any repairs are being done since new vehicles are expected to be defect free.
We never provide loaners, never stated to [redacted] we would and never stated we would reimburse for a rental.
