Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised.  This consumer actually purchased the vehicle for his wife, most correspondence was with the wife Nicole. The consumers purchases a 2000 Volvo S80 on May 30th with over 121,000 miles; as such this vehicle is not covered under lemon law nor...

is the vehicle returnable.  Dealers are permitted the opportunity to repair any issues that may arise with a vehicle that they've sold. The consumer contacted the business after obtaining vehicle complaining of jerkiness with the vehicle and that the CD player was not working.  Business advised the consumer to bring the vehicle in so the business could determine the issue with the Volvo.  This consumer lives about 90 minutes from the dealership. Consumer was unhappy with the Volvo, so we worked with the bank to obtain a little larger down payment for the vehicle and then the consumer's loan was rolled over into another loan for a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. The bank and dealer were willing to work with this consumer as the consumer agreed to maintain the same bank for financing and same dealership for another vehicle, the Hyundai Santa Fe. Consumer took the Santa Fe and then a few days later complained that the gas tank was not registering.  Consumer was advised to bring the Hyundai in and it would be looked at.  Consumer continued to contact business to see if they could take the vehicle to their local mechanic because of the distance to the dealer.  The consumer wouldn't verify the exit interview with the bank, therefore the business never received payment for the Hyundai. Business got in touch with the consumer to inform they hadn't received payment for the Hyundai and that the consumer needed to pay for that vehicle or bring it back and take the Vovlo back.  Consumer came to dealer after hours to return the Hyundai expecting down payment back.  Business had to contact the local police and explain the situation as the consumers behavior was not professional.  Police agreed with the business, the business owned the Hyundai and the consumer owned the Volvo, the consumer was entitled to $152.20 which the consumer did not take upon taking the Volvo and leaving the dealer.  After the consumer took possession of the Volvo, the business was contacted and advised that the consumer voluntarily surrendered the Volvo to the bank and consumer wanted a full refund.  Business did everything in their power to work with the consumer and all the issues the consumer brought to their attention.  Consumer appears to have been misinformed about the car buying and car loan process.  The consumer is only due $152.20 from the business at this time.

[It was not our decision to have the bank take the car, they took the vehicle (volvo) because we were not happy with the vehicle. It had to many problems. If we can get the Santa fe back I will take that back!]
