The Carolina Men's Clinic Reviews (%countItem)

Dr. H is wonderful! He is very thorough, precise and made me feel at ease through my entire treatment. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

Very high pressure and very costly. I started at the Charlotte clinic and relocated and ended up at the Raleigh Clinic. T cream was $2k for a year and I truly believe that they made up the results on the increase of the T number. When I had blood work done at my Family Dr. the #s were not even close and had caused other issues. I stopped and have not gone back to the clinic. Im not surprised but they have not even tried to get in touch with me. They have my money. PLEASE BEWARE.

I felt pressured to sign an agreement for one year of service, and the business is charging me for medication I have not received and do not want.
On January 17, 2019, I went to the Carolina Men's Clinic for an examination. After three hours there, I was tired and confused and my wife was tired, confused, and nervous. At the end, a patient counselor (Morgan A) came in to sign me up for a plan and quickly explained options. I did not understand what I was signing or that I was going to be stuck with a year of service; they also got me to sign a loan agreement with a company called *** (the account ends in***. She kept saying "just sign here." The total charge was for $1808, including $1600 for a year's worth of medication. After she got me to sign the papers, I asked what I could do if decided I didn't want to keep going after a few months, and the doctor told me I could get out of it "if I die" or with an order from my doctor.
I called back the next day after I finally had time to think and told them I didn't want any more doses of the medication, but the business told me that I was stuck with the plan and could not get a refund because they had ordered the medication.
I am 78 years old, and I feel like they took advantage of that by pressuring me to sign a plan I didn't understand.

Desired Outcome

I don't want to be charged for the medication I haven't received and don't want.

Since the patient visit on Jan 17, 2019 we have spoken with the patient and his wife several times. The patients test time in the office was 1.5 hours. The patient counselor is very thorough and detailed in explaining treatment and treatment plans. Her time with the patient may take 30-45 minutes and is ample time to understand the information needed to make an informed decision. Our paperwork is clear. There are 5 documents reviewed and signed at the close of the visit. I spoke with the patient and wife at least twice. Based on the signed paperwork I offered other options that based on the patient signature is consistent, clear, and concise. The patient medication was ordered after the visit (which is typical) and is waiting for pickup. The patients agreement for payment is with the medical financing company. Based on the signed agreements, I do not see grounds for a refund at this time. I would be happy to discuss other options with the patient.

I explained to the doctor that I was there for the consultation that I saw on TV for $99.00 and that was all I wanted that day. He said he could not tell me the cost or anything until they went through some tests and someone else would have to give me the cost amount. I feel that I was pressured to sign papers before I really knew what was going on. I called the office at 9:00 the next morning to cancel everything and was told I could not cancel because the medication was already ordered. I still do not understand how they can order medication for a year ahead. I believe they told me the medication had to be prepared fresh every month. I feel that they just took advantage of me.

Did not accept the response from the business.
This has been a NIGHTMARE since we visited the Carolina Men's Clinic. I was pressured to sign papers that I did not get to read entirely and did not understand. This is a RIP-OFF company. The doctor said he had several degrees in practicing medicine and a pharmacy degree but we never saw a certificate or proof of that. They advertise on TV for $99 visit but when you get there they have a different plan. I have been SCAMMED! The men's clinic should payoff the financial company.

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response • Apr 03, 2019

I want to help the patient however paying his medical expense agreement with the finance company will not be approved. If you would like to speak with me to try to resolve this I am more than happy to do that based on my previous notes. We are executing the paperwork that you signed freely. Nothing more. That does not imply a scam.

If you would like to speak with me lets take that route.

I was mislead regarding a product and/or service. I have been charged for a service that I have not received.
I went to this merchant regarding ED on 11/19/2018. They were running a special on the office visit for $89 which was waived if I was interested in a service. During the visit, my bloodand vitals were taken. My *** was also injected twice to stimulate me to produce an erecting which did not work. The provider began to inform me of the different options available to me. The office manager came in to explain further. She asked which procedure interested me and I said if anything I would choose the P-shot. She went on ton say that the procedure was on sale for $1500 and it usually takes two doses, so we should go ahead and apply for both shots for the sale price and we would only be charged if the product wasbused. We (wife & I) could pay out of pocket or apply for one of the medical credit cards, (i.e, Care Credit, etc.) She took my application and came back to day that I was denied and she asked my wife if u would cosign for me. My wife asked her again if we would be charged and she(office manager),specifically said only of the service was used, which she denied ever saying when we called to ask why we were receiving a bill for something that has never been used. The conversation escalated when she became very nasty and rude. She said it's a loan and you all signed. My wife told her that when we were discussing payment options, she never said the word "loan", she specifically said credit card. She then said that the for said all sales are final and non-refundable. All it said was all sales are final in very small print and nothing about non-refundable. I contacted the creditor Greensky to dispute the charges to let them know that we were no longer in terested in the procedure and we wanted to cancel the card. They said that they would contact the merchant to investigate further and call me back in a few days which they did. They would not cancel to transaction. I asked them how could we be billed for a service that has not been utilized. All they did was apologize and hung up. We DO NOT want the service! This company misleads their clients and the misrepresentation of guaranteed results are simply not true. They advertise that results are guaranteed before you leave their office and nothing that was attempted worked for me. We would like for this charge to be reversed. They back dated the charges to the first and only visit that was over a month and a half prior to the email saying a bill was due in five (5) days.

Desired Outcome

I wold like for the charges to be reversed because we are not interested in the service.

This patient has been diagnosed with a venous leak and chose to finance his treatment plan via a third party. All financing is clearly explained and in this case explained twice with a spouse re-application. After getting approved for financing with a co-applicant, the nature of his purchase is explained a third time in our in house paperwork. Our paperwork and informed consent process is arduous and far from misleading. Patient then scheduled and cancelled two procedure slots over the course of three months. Patient initialed a dispute with the financing company which was denied after we provide all of the executed documentation for his financing. The procedural slots, medications and supplies in this patient treatment plans are cost incurred by our clinic as of the day of initial transaction. We act in good faith on behalf of the patient and purchase all of their medication for ongoing treatment or procedure immediately. The medication and supplies are an out of pocket expense for our clinic. Medications/procedures can be shifted, adjusted and/or transferred to other services with provider approval and oversight. This flexibility allows for natural changes in the body due to aging, PCP medication changes or sickness to be compensated for in our ongoing treatment. We will continue to act in good faith on this patient's behalf as long as all medical policy and requirements are followed per state and federal regulation and we expect the same from our patient. This patients services are also always available to him per state and federal regulations.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We were told that we would not be charged for services not used. We were told that we should select a second treatment at the sale price because if chosen later it would be the regular price if decided at a later date, but we would not be charged if the treatment wasn't used. Also, one appointment was made and cancelled because it was decided that Mr. was no longer interested in the procedure.

Customer Response • Jan 27, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am no longer interested in the procedure. I would like to have this account closed. I have already received a bill with interest added and I was told that the amount would be same as cash, interest free for 18 months. That too is not true according to the bill received. I am completely dissatisfied with this company. No one should be charged for services not rendered!

We have attempted to contact this patient several times and he will not return our calls. Please read previous. Several options have been presented. With regard to his loan and invoice concerns: It is important that the patient read the entire invoice. By law the loan company must show you all of the possible interest on the loan as well as the full amount borrowed. 3/4 of the way down the invoice there is a blocked off section that depicts the "Promotional Period". As long as the patient pays off his loan in the promotional period no interest is paid. Please call our clinic during normal business hours for any further communication.

product only worked after 1 adjustment at my first visit. Did not work after I signed up for system and paid for 1 year upfront.
After reading and listening on TV about CMC high success rates of there ED system, I signed up for the one year system that was recommended by CMC after initial evaluation. I was tested and told that at my initial visit that I would need to sign up for the program that took one year. I paid for 52 weeks worth of medicine and only received 2 weeks worth of medicine. In marketing CMC stated "money back guaranteed to ED issues." in there marketing. I emailed Mike M at CMC and told him the product was not working and the transport method was way more painful than the initial visit. I was informed that my file showed that I was very satisfied with the system. I had to ask him if he had my file or another patient. This was at a time where I was emailing him that I requested a full refund and the product was not working and very painful. It was then that I realized how they advertise a 92% success rate on there product.

Desired Outcome

WWould like to settle on a refund of the medicine that I paid for upfront but did not receive. 50 weeks worth that I did not receive.

Patient's medical record on 3/31/17 reveals patient maintaining fantastic erection
in the clinic and reported a level 3-4 in discomfort. Medicines adjusted for comfort and dispensed. On 5/18/17 patient reported that he was getting good erections that lasted two hours and that he was able to have intercourse. He reported similar on 6/6/17. The medicine in this patients treatment plan remains adjustable. Providers are happy to adjust it again. Patient has used over 20 doses to date and all of his medication is available to him per state and federal regulations. His treatment plan is also flexible between types of medicine or services if prescribed by provider. Any medicine left in treatment plan can be converted to PRP procedures, TRT, sublingual medicine or even the ground breaking Regenewave treatments.

I received the response for Carolina mens Clinic "CMC" for brevity in future and give my version of what happened. 03/24/2017. Initial visit to CMC. Received blood work & Shot of medicine from Doctor at clinic. (Absolutely No results) 03/31/2017. Resheduled visit with adjusted medicine. Some success. Received a shot. this shot seemed to have some results. I was able to have sex that night about 2 hrs after I returned home. Not clear where the CMC file stated fantastic erectioa. What 70 yr old dude uses the term "fantaticic erection". I don't remember using this term in my whole life. Anyhow this ended up in my CMC file. I told the DR. that I was able to have intercourse which was the reason I signed paper work for the yerly program that day. I also used the pain level as 3-4 in discomfort. On the shot on my 2nd visit, the transport device that I was give was a sulver pen like device whick felt like a small pinch and was tolerable. On 04/07/2017 when I went to pick up my kit and 1st dose of medicine, the transport device was swicthed to a The plunger injection device felt like a spike in my privates. I visited the clinic to verify that I was injecting correctly. The woman at the clinic gave me a devise to show her the process I was using and verified I was injecting correctly. (This didn't seem to be in my CMC file. Cherry pick my verbiage for their file. it was at this point that I called the finance company to cancel my signed contact within 72 hrs. I was told CMC had alreday been paid in full and they would have to issue a credit to the finance company. Conventielly I had not been called by CMC to pick up my initial vile of adjusted medicine and transport device. I felt that there was a switch in the transport device which raised my pin level considerably to a 7-8. It was at this point I started doing due deligence of CMC on-line.. I went on the Revdex.com website in Charlotte and saw that CMC had 25-30 patient complaints many about deceiptive advertising & product that did not work. Many described same issues in my case. At this point I started feeling like a test dummy for CMC what worked and in what dosage. The reason CMC said I gave the same response on several visits was that they were asking me the same questions as the 1st visit. You ask the same question you get the same answer. I was able to have intercourse (1) time.but never a fantastic erection as stated in my private file.Several weeks later I received a call from CMC telling me that they had a new program (P shot what may be able to help my ED issue. I told the lady that I would not be taken a second time and that the medicine that I paid for a year was not working and very painful. She looked up my file and saw that I had not used hardly any of my medicine. She gave me the name of the Assistant manager and asked me to call him and tell him and he may be able to assist me in my situation. I emailed this person & this is when I got the info in the email that I was having wonderful sex and was very satisfied. I told the lady that I had lost all trust CMC and the recommendation they gave me for medicine did not work. I left a message that I would like a full refund or credit and that I was completely dissatisfied. During these emails I was told that CMC files stated that I was completely satisfied with the program. This was at the same time I was asking for a full refund. Do most people who are completely satisfied as I asking for a full refund? I looked in my file & and found marketing brochures from CMC that stated " Money back Guarantee and satisfaction Guarnteeded. Is this business as usual in medicine in the US today. The FTC has regulations for using type of adverting. I was curious why my insurance would not cover my visit at CMC but when I went to my Urologist all visits were covered. FINAL TALLY.= CMC $3800. *** (1) time success in 12 months. Does this seem fair? The final straw was an Revdex.com online text file which stated September 06, 2016. Revdex.com files indicated that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning the "product area. Specifically, complaints are alleging failed to produce desired results or create great discomfort fro which the company failed to provide relief or instruction. On August 30,2016 Revdex.com met with Carolina Mens Clinic staff to determine ways in which this pattern could be eliminated. On September 06,2016 CMC submitted "Strategies to Reduce Patient Complaints which outlined specific approaches to complaint reduction included: provider Involvement, Management of Patient Expectation, and Manager & Director Involvement. I am not (1) patient that has an axe to grind against this business. This pattern has been going on for years. This needs to stop. many patients being charged large fees with little success.

CMC proposed exchanging my current plan with alternate plan which they will convert to different medicine or procedures. I will accept this but only after visiting CMC to discuss these medicines or procedures as my physical health has changed and I would like to discuss with the the experts at CMC to make sure theses treatments would not have a negative effect on my condition I would accept this plan if no further change in plans would change my current physical condition. ***.

went for a consult They took blood, injected me with a *** hardening shot, then had me sign a contract to receive services, wouldn't let me cancel
I went for a low Testosterone consultation, they took blood to test my levels, then gave me a *** hardening shot, after which while I was trying to leave, and with out my signed authorization signed me up to "***" credit account number *** of which they secured a $4975.54 payment. They had me sign a contract to receive test cream and shots and told me my insurance if it covers test treatment or ed meds would cover it. This was Friday at 5pm the following Monday I called to cancel, was informed I could not. they then called to inform me test levels were low and that I had an elevated prostate level, that I had to have looked at to be eligible to receive treatment that I DO NOT want. I wrote a notarized cancellation notice and sent via mail to the mens clinic and emailed to ***. At that point I scheduled a Dr appt. and called "***" to let them know I did not receive services and would not receive services and am only willing to pay for consultation. The supervisor's last name is *** the same last name of accounts manager at the Mens Clinic that I've been waiting 3 weeks for a return call from. The "*** Credit" said they would not demand refund of money from "men's clinic" since then my primary Dr. has said I cannot receive service and my Test levels are not below normal levels to receive and or be covered by my insurance. I've now been getting bills from "*** Credit" for this $4975.54 of which I have not received nor signed authorization for funds to be released to "Carolina men's clinic" and have not, can not, and don't want services from "The Carolina Men's Clinic"

Desired Outcome

I just want them to pay back "***redit" the money they got from them for my services I don't want and can't receive. I changed my mind in 1 business day, and they should have waited to test results came back to see if I could even receive treatments.

Patient came into the clinic on 11/02/18 stating that he is having difficulty maintaining an erection and that he had previously been diagnosed with low testosterone levels. The Provider discussed his options that and administered a test dose that gave him an erection in clinic in order to achieve a more accurate diagnoses. Patient elected to go through the whole process per Provider recommendations. Later on a patient coordinator discussed treatment options and the cost with patient. Patient elected to proceed with Testosterone treatment and ED treatment. After discussing all options patient elected to choose to finance his treatment thru "***".
Patient voluntarily signed all paperwork while in the exam room and confirmed that he understood the terms and conditions of all contract.
Spoke to Patient last Thursday to follow up and said he is awaiting on his primary care doctor appointment in order to come back and get started on his treatments.

It was a 5'oclock on a friday and canceled at 8 am monday morning there has been NO "good faith" except the good faith of the dollar that you are attempting to rip me off for. My Doctor's office has sent request for your testing with NO replies. None of your "methods" interest me and are alotted per my Dr based on your shady testing and practices. There is NO medicine there for me. I have offered to pay for the intial testing I received as well as the consultation, but that is it. Thanks

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response • Jan 23, 2019

As a matter of standard medical protocol, testing performed on this patient revealed elevated PSA levels and further testing by patient's PCP was ordered by our provider. No official results from that additional testing have been received by our office to date. In the event that a contraindication is diagnosed and documented by PCP the patient has several options. The medications in this patient treatment plans are cost incurred by CMC as of the day of initial transaction. We act in good faith on behalf of the patient and purchase all of their medication for ongoing treatment immediately. The medication is an out of pocket expense for CMC. Medications can be shifted, adjusted and/or transferred to other services with provider approval and oversight. His medication is always available to him per state and federal regulation. Please call during normal business hours to schedule your next appointment at our clinic.

Billing Adjustment I should only have to pay the 99 dollar office visit.that was all I wanted to get that day.i wasn't wanting the 50 dosages, that I was billed for and didn't receive, nor do I want too.

I know this patient very well. It is difficult to enter into a treatment plan without wanting it and knowing that you are entering into an agreement. We require multiple signatures and verbally walk each patient through the process with a staff member. We can not nor want to force patients into a decision. This patient signed all paperwork willingly. He wanted the treatment as most of our patients do after seeing results. I have spoken with this patient and so has the PC. The patient needs to place an order for medication in order to begin receiving it.

I went in today to the *** Location, I was not sure what to expect but I did my homework to ask all the questions. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable. The counselor explained all the treatment plans that I was interested in and the pricing was within reason which was for a whole year treatment plan and the best part financing was available at zero interest. Thank you

Mislead on the services
On 8/29/2018 I went into the office before I went I had talked to them several times and was told the consultation was free if they couldnt help me and when I asked about how much the medicine was I was told its very affordable so affordable that they dont accept insurance when I was at the office I was there for low testosterone I was told I could only get their medication they could not write me a prescription then a woman came in and talked to me about payments for a years progarm it was going to be $2,198 she said you can put it on a credit card or get it financed which was going to cost me $183 a month the same medicine they were trying to sell me sells at my local pharmacy for $75 for a 2 and a half month supply when I said I would think about she said you have to pay $99 today I said I thought the consultation was free if you didnt help me she said oh but we can I said I assume you can help anyone that walks in the door and once they see the prices they have you either pay over $2,000 a year or pay $99 just to get out of there I was mislead on the whole thing and not to cause a confrontation I did pay them cause I didnt want to get into it with anyone there

Desired Outcome

All i want is my $99 dollars back.

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response • Aug 31, 2018

Patient visited our clinic on 8/29/18 for a consultation that normally costs $199. This patient only paid $99, as was the advertised August office visit discount. Full medical history taken, vital signs and initial blood work drawn. Patient refused test dose of medicine that is included with office visit. Patient indicated that he would like to treat his deficiencies and as a courtesy an additional $300 in lab work was ordered and executed which the patient did not pay for. Our medicines are proprietary blends, customized specifically to each patient and they are not available to the general public with out a physician's oversight, training and prescription. We are 100% confident that we can help this patient and happy to do so should he choose to follow the physician's recommendations. We DO NOT recommend that any patient prescribe, dose and administer federally regulated medication on their own without a specialty physician's guidance and expertise.

The Men's Clinic offered a service that was advertised as over 90% effective. That may be true for a younger person but not for a 70+ man with diabte
It was not disclosed during the initial treatment that expensive drugs would still be required. The treatments didn't work. I paid for more drugs than were received. I asked for a partial refund but was denied. I believe this company is guilty of deceptive advertising and business practices. It is very close to elder abuse.

Desired Outcome

I really only want a partial refund. I would like a refund of $900.00. I spent close to $4,000 with this company.

This patient had an elective PRP procedure performed on 9/18/17 designed to improve circulatory functionality. Typically gains from procedure are expected to be 10-20% however, during post procedure testing on 11/13/17, a 35% increase in circulatory functionality was recorded. This is evaluated as a huge success in functionality gains. On 11/13/17 patient requested a treatment plan of medication that had been prescribed by our physician. During the next three month patient received medical equipment and nine doses of medicine as a part of his treatment plan. On 1/15/18 patient requested to cancel his treatment plan. All future payments were canceled at that time. Calculating cost of medicines and medical equipment dispensed to this patient revealed that he still owed $75. This balance due was waived as a courtesy to the patient.

GRIEVANCE:
The Men's Clinic deceptively withheld information that I could have used to make my decision to use their service
I went to the Men's Clinic for their advertised treatment. I went through the painful process only to find additional medicine would be required. The meds didn't work either. The fact that the meds would be required after the P-shot was not disclosed until after the fact. The meds are extremely expensive, and I didn't use all that I paid for. I wanted a refund but it was denied and now they won't communicate with me.
DESIRED RESOLUTION::

I'm simply seeking a relatively small refund, approximately $900. This is out of the $3600 that I paid.
I'm 72 years old and I have diabetes with severe neuropathy. I believe that the doctors at the Men's clinic knew that it would be unlikely for the treatment to work due to my age and diabetes status.

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response • Oct 12, 2018

The procedure he received was a total success! He asked to cancel his treatment plan and we did that for him even though he owed $763.20!!! As it is he owe us $75 and we have waived that for him as well. There is nothing else we can do for him besides send him a bill. I don't want to do that.

Talk to Manager Robrt, said will sent a refund Of $700. on June,21st said he called the accounting department, they said they will sent at the end of the month will, here it is July 6th no check they just called said we need to sign for it and need to pick it up. Never do Binness with them they talked me into a contract that me can not pay for.

Desired Outcome

Refund My Money

At CMC we are committed to patient care. This patient has been with us since January 2017 and has had no less than twenty various levels of contact with us since then in the form of appointment, phone call or voice mail message. We spoke to this patient this morning and scheduled an appointment to adjust his current medicine and review consultation for the continuation of his treatment. All of our treatment plans are fully adjustable to accommodate for the inevitable changes that happen over time to all patients and we are more than happy to facilitate these adjustments.

Charged for products that were never received asked for refund, was told I would receive it and have not.
On May 23, 2018 I spoke to my "advocate" and they told me they want me to come in and repeat blood work on that Friday coming up, told me they needed morning blood work for accuracy. Asked for the credit card number and said they would have everything ready to go upon me coming in on Friday and signing off on the waiver for the use of the product. They should not have charged the card without the waiver being signed and the blood work drawn. The following day day May 24, 2018 at approximately 9am I called and told them I was unable to make the appointment for Friday due to a death in the family, that I would like to have everything put on hold. They had already charged the card for the product, which I did not even sign a waiver or have accurate blood work done. I told them I want a refund if they charged my card and they were not authorized to charge my card, nor did I sign off on the product or treatment plan. After a long discussion (which I have recorded and informed them I was recording) they took the credit card number again and said they would put the refund through. I called and informed my credit card company of the incident and they told me they would dispute the charge. They should not have to dispute a charge that was a fraudulent charge to begin with. I want my credit I was told I would have in the amount of $2749.00 for product that I did not authorize nor did I ever receive.

Desired Outcome

I would just like the funds put back on my credit card where they should be.$2749.00

On 5 May 2018 this patient came into our clinic for a testosterone consult. After lengthy consultation with provider and then counselor, patient concluded his visit and paid $99. On 23 May 2018 counselor spoke with Mr. about provider's prescription for TRT therapy due to his lab results and he purchased the annual testosterone treatment over the phone. At this point Mr. gave his credit card number to counselor to complete the transaction and scheduled his fasting blood work appointment for 25 *** 2018. Mr. later canceled this appointment due to a family emergency. Since that time provider, manager and counselor have attempted to contact Mr. to schedule his fasting blood work. CMC is committed to treating this patient with TRT as agreed to on 23 *** 2018. All blood work is mandatory. We can only dispense medicine after the provider has reviewed Mr. fasting blood work lab results.

The Carolina Men's clinic called yesterday. They claim it was a misunderstanding and they thought we just wanted everything to be put on hold. When we told *** we have everything recorded as well as the phone call we are on now, he began to back pedal. *** has sent us a release for funds and to sever the client/doctor relationship. The release tells us that we are not to bad mouth, defame the clinic in anyway with people, media, or any other ways of communication. I told *** in an email that I will not release this complaint with the Revdex.com until the funds are received and the check they send is cleared. Please keep this complaint open as pending and I will be sure to let you know when the complaint can be closed.

Thank you

CMC spoke with this patient on X-XX-XX and has agreed to terminate provider-patient relationship. Any public communication outside of standard provider-patient channels will terminate that agreement.

I paid $2000 for a pshot that didnt work.
On march 01,2016 I went to the Carolina's men clinic and paid for a procedure that was offered on the radio so I was pressured into buying a treatment that they verbally garanteed an increased of of 2 inches and never gain anything

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of my $2000 dollars that I paid and got no results, it's a fraud.

3/1/16 Patient purchased three PRP procedures at *** and the first procedure was performed. 3/7/16 Patient said his insurance would not cover the second and third procedures. Patient was only charged for one procedure. 4/15/16 Patient in for PRP follow-up visit and .25" gain in girth recorded in medical record. 4/25/16-6/27/16 Patient communicates that he is unhappy with results from PRP procedure. Patient is offered a second procedure for FREE (Normally $2198) and promptly accepts the procedure which is performed on 7/21/16. 9/9/16 Patient in for 2nd PRP follow up visit and .75" total size gain in girth recorded in medical record. This growth translates to 18.75% increase in size gain which is well beyond the high end of a reasonable man's expectations and also on the high end of CMC's estimates for gains. The procedures were both a complete success. Size gains and improved functionality both recorded in medical record.

The *** Medical Board has reviewed this patient's entire chart and has officially deemed that his claims do not justify any further review due to CMC's informed consent process.

CMC's informed consent process is arduous and fully encompassing to say the least. 1) Pt. received verbal explanation, is given time to read, initials and signs in processing Informed Patient Consent document. 2) Prior to first procedure Pt. received verbal explanation, is given time to read, initials and signs PRP Informed Patient Consent document. 3) After first procedure Pt. received verbal explanation, is given time to read, initials and signs Patient Check Out Sheet- *** Shot document. 4) Prior to second procedure Pt. received verbal explanation, is given time to read, initial and signs PRP Informed Patient Consent document. 5) After second procedure Pt. received verbal explanation, is given time to read, initials and signs Patient Check Out Sheet- *** Shot document.

Due to the nature of medical PRP procedures we do not promise or guarantee any specific size gains verbally or in writing. It is impossible to do so and we are overly open with that fact in our informed consent process. This PRP procedure has a 95% success rate and this patient had two successful procedures.

Document Attached***
They are lying 1 paid for 2 procudes because they told me verbally that it was guarantee 2 inches and they would give me a 3rd procesure fir free. But it was too much money so I requested a refund the same day of the 1st procedure and I told them if they didn't give me a refund I would cancel the whole procedure and is how they refunded me the 2nd procedure, but I have always told them I wasn't happy because I didn't see no gain at all so they offered a 2nd procedure and I still didn't see no gain,it's the spring loaded shot that makes me look bigger and the second time they increased the spring loeaded shot to make it look bigger and it was very painful.I can assure that I didn't gain nothing at all.otherwise why would they offer me to refund me $1100 and now they don't want to honor the offer.

The *** Medical Board has reviewed this patients file and exonerated CMC from ALL of this patient's false claims. The *** Medical Board does not lie. Mr. is hereby terminated from any provider/patient relationship at CMC. All offers for compensation are null and void. Please see attach *** Medical Board. Thank you.

We are committed to successfully treating over 15,000 patients with premature dysfunction, low testosterone and premature ejaculation. This patient agreed to purchase medication on 4/3/18. He signed the Visa sales receipt and *** paperwork which includes his signature and initials in eleven locations giving in depth explanation of what he was purchasing. Our informed consent process is extensive to insure our patients understand their treatment. Medication was dispensed as requested by the patient. On 4/9/18 the patient requested to apply for interest free financing and was denied again indicating he wanted to continue treatment. On 4/11/18 patient called and requested to use spouses credit card to transfer balance then changed his mind. On 4/12/18 the patient visits clinic again to discuss his lab results and is advised that further treatment is recommended. On Approximately 5/1/18 he disputes charges from 4/3/18 with credit card company and is denied by credit card company based on the fully executed paperwork provided. On 5/16/18 patient was given options to continue with current medication, switch to other services and/or a refund based on what he had signed and understood as our refund policy. Patient refused all remedies and said "I'd rather hammer you online because it hurts you more." Despite this patients negative actions, we would like to resolve this issue to his satisfaction. We are committed to helping him with treatment as agreed to with the already signed documents.

Did not work for me. Purchased 2500$ worth of injections that hurt like hell and never worked. They had several suggestions and finally said I should try some kind of treatment that injected my platlets which didn't work either. Can't speak for all men but in my case it was like flushing 2500$ down the toleit but more painful. Would not recommend them at all.

I purchased 100 doses of xxxxx from The Carolina Men's Clinic for $2210. I have only used 38/100 and I want a refund of for the remaining doses.
On 3/23/17 I purchased 100 doses of xxxxx from The Carolina Men's Clinic for $2210. The amount was financed through xxxxx at 0% interest for 24 months. I have verified with the clinic through xxxxx that I have used 38 of the 100 doses. I don't need to order the remaining doses from the clinic. I have contacted xxxxx and they stated that The Carolina Men's Clinic just needs to contact them and the account can be settled based on how much xxxxx I have used versus how much I have paid.
When I contacted The Men Clinic, xxxxx didn't think it would be a problem but said he needed to verify it through the project manager, xxxxx. Later xxxxx said that xxxxxx said I could not cancel the remaining doses. I didn't understand that since I don't have the doses in my possession. I have asked to speak with Mr. xxxxx but I have had no response.

Desired Outcome

The amount of the xxxxx was $2210 for 100 doses or $22.10/dose. I have used 38 doses or $839.80. The remaining amount $2210-839.80 = $1370.20, I want removed from my xxxxx account.

We have contacted the patient and agreed on a resolution. He is satisfied and will call the Revdex.com to confirm our mutual agreement. We consider all issues resolved and once the patient contact you, this complaint is closed. Thanks.

Their medicine works! It had been 10 years since the last time I had been intimate with my wife. It's like we started all over again. Fantastic! It literally costs less than her salon nail and hair bills for a year. I would had done it sooner if I had know. Highly recommend!!!

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response

Thank you for the comments

Spoke to their office to request refund. Were supposed to call me back but have not. Has been ongoing issue.
Being I've never done this before, there was very little description given for the procedure we would be following on the initial visit, 1/16/17. That should have included the fact that up to three different people were going to check the progress of the ***. Once the *** showed to be only slightly effective, there was no discussion of options, just the lady who comes in and discusses the ***, for which I paid $2100 on ***. The appt date for the shot was 1/26/17. The shot had little to no lasting effect that I could tell, but I did start using the pump that same day, generally twice a day, using it for the prescribed length of time. I have had a history of low ***, so our next step was to begin using the cream on 2/3/17, at another $2500 cost for one year of quarterly shipments. I have paid a total of $2,635 toward the combined $4,600, leaving a balance of $1,965. I started getting blood work each quarter before the next shipment of cream could be sent, with the last time getting blood drawn in the *** office being 7/13/17. I was told that I could go to any *** location and have that done, so I opted to do that in ***, being that was a much shorter drive than ***. I don't recall anyone explaining that I had to have an "order" entered into the system prior to going to another location, so I wasted time one day waiting in the *** office before finding out an order was needed. That did make sense, but the *** office started saying that I didn't need blood drawn yet, even though I was almost out of the cream. Through numerous phone calls and explanations to multiple staff members, I got them to enter an order, only to receive yet another call saying I didn't need blood drawn yet. More phone calls ensued, because I was completely out of cream by then. I went to the *** location to have blood drawn on 10/25/17, and waited for the fourth quarterly shipment of cream. When it had not come after two weeks, I called the *** office and left 3-4 messages about not having the cream, and to say that I wanted to simply stop at this point and get a refund for the last quarter of cream, which would be $625. I also believe that I should get at least one-half the cost of the expensive but rather ineffective ***, which would be $1,050. Once I finally got to speak with ***, I stated that I am done with this whole mess, and I want this $1,675 amount credited back to my *** card. I was supposed to get a call back on this, but that has been a couple of days. Throughout this process, I've had to change the mailing address they had for me at least twice, due to their entering of the wrong zip code. I've had to correct the email address they had for me. When trying to reach one specific gentleman who had proved helpful the last time, I received a message saying his voice mail had "not been initialized." I've had to correct the contact phone number they had for me. I was asked to provide the best number for them to reach me, and I gave my office number due to cell phone reception issues, and when they did call me back, they called my cell phone number anyway. Is anyone paying attention? This is only a portion of what has taken place, so I need the $1,675 applied, which would still leave me with owing $290, and then I will be finished with this operation. I have found something through my personal physician that has been simple and effective, at a small fraction of the cost I've had with this clinic, so I will be doing that.

Desired Outcome

Refund should be at least one-half of the $2100 *** cost, which would be $1050, plus the cost of one quarter's worth of the $2500 *** cream, which would be $625, since I never received this quarterly shipment. That makes a MINIMUM total of $1,675 that needs to be applied to my *** card.

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response

I spoke with the patient this morning regarding the service issues. I am sorry the patient had that experience. We are continuing to work with *** to assure only the best service for our patients and I used his experience as an example to improve other patient's services. I also offered to streamline the ordering process and lab work protocols to help this patient further. After speaking with him we decided to settle on a an amount for refund. I offered the patient to come back at any time and I would help him personally. I believe the issue was resolved.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I would have preferred to wait on responding until I had received the refund check. I stated as much to the gentleman with whom I was discussing my case. I have to go on good faith that I will receive the check soon. The check is to be for cream that I never received. I also felt that I was entitled to a portion of the cost of ***. That was denied, so I disagreed with the gentleman on that part. Therefore, I have to settle with things the way they are.

As of monday evening I had not heard from them . Broken promises after broken promises. I'm done with them.I want my money back.

The Carolina Men's Clinic Response

In follow up I just spoke with the patient this morning. We are and have been working closely with the patient to resolve this complaint. The patient has great results according to his labs however does not want to stay on the program. Perhaps there are other medical issues causing his issues. Either way we will resolve the issue with him.
