I am concerned about a billing error that we are experiencing with NMetro Radiology
My husband James received two x-ray services on 11/12/We received and immediately paid the bill for the one service, for $
NMetro failed to bill us for the second service (for $100.01) and the bill was sent to collections
Upon receiving a notice from the collection agency (the first time I was aware of the charge), I called NMetro Radiology on 4/14/and was told that since the bill was in collections, they would try to pull it out, but otherwise could not do anything to assist me, including taking a paymentAt this point, I requested that they send me a bill to let me know what the charge was for, since this was the first I had heard of it and I did not want to pay a bill I wasn't sure of what it was forI was told to ignore the bill from collections, and that NMetro would handle it, and would send me a bill directly from them that would show the charges and that I could pay
N Metropolitan Radiology Services uses a third-party outsourcer to manage credit and collections (the bills) The service they use is weak to the point of incompetent Their automated call service (that is the (855) 206-number you see on this Revdex.com Reviews and Complaints webpage) and their website (www.mydocbills.com) will update your insurance or graciously allow you to pay Both services are weak and worthless We paid our bill on time, but two months later got a letter from a collections agency as the third-party service misapplied our payment Their customer service blamed our bank North Metropolitan wants your money, but does not care to us a provider to actually be of any use to their patients For their back-of-the-house, business office, and customer service, I give NMR my lowest recommendation In the future, if given a choice, I will not use NMR
