First, we would like to extend our sincere apologies that items were damaged during the relocation process, and that a claim had to be filed In all cases, the TSP values claimed items in accord with the military's claim business rules under the Defense Transportation RegulationIn this specific case, there were several items claimed that were not notified to us within the allowable time-period under the military's claim rules (two items under #and item were notifed at days, the notification period is limited ot days) Beyond that, offers were either submitted "as claimed" (i.e., item #179), verified replacement value (#165), or were provided as repair allowances based on our substantial experience of the cost of repairing furniture items At this point, in order to move forward, we would like to offer to arrange for an on-sight inspection/estimate on the repairable furniture items (those items on which a repair allowance offer was extended) in order to validate that the items can be repaired for the amount offered If the claimant would like to pursue that option, then they can let us know and we'll make the necessary arrangements

To whom it may concern:Cartwright International has received notice of the customer complaint under ID ***. This was a move arranged and contracted to us by the militaryOnce we have all details on the move, our move coordinators contact the military member and review the details of
the shipmentDuring this call on June 29, the move coordinator advised the member of the pack/load date and specified the shipment should arrive on or around the RDD set by the military of July 26thThis is not a set delivery dateThis is when we expect it to arriveWe advise that once the shipment arrives at the destination, we will call and send an email to schedule deliveryWe do both forms of contact in an attempt to confirm deliveryThis is standard and preferred by the military when trying to arrange delivery datesThe move coordinator on this shipment was in contact with the member on July At that time she advised the member the shipment was expected to the delivery agency early the following week and we would contact them to arrange a delivery dateOn Tuesday the 26th, the move coordinator was contacted by the member and the coordinator confirmed the arrival of their shipment to the delivery agent and they were advised a delivery coordinator would be in touch to confirm a delivery dateLater on the 26th a delivery date was confirmed with the member and the delivery agency for August 1stWe understand moving is stressful and having a guaranteed date of delivery to your new home is preferredWe try to get as much information we can on when members expect to have a new home or expect to be ready for deliveryWe do our best to deliver as close to that expected date as we canWe apologize if there was a miscommunication regarding delivery and for any inconvenience this causedWe will review with our team to ensure they make sure they communicate that we do not have a set delivery to residence date, and we will arrange a date for delivery with them once the shipment has arrived to the delivery agent’s facility Respectfully, *** ***Quality Assurance DepartmentCartwright InternationalToll Free: ###-###-####Local: ###-###-####Fax: ###-###-####Email: ***

specific case, there were several items claimed that were not notified to us within the allowable time-period under the military's claim rules (two items under #182 and item 197 were notifed at 112 days, the notification period is limited ot 75 days).  Beyond that, offers were either submitted "as claimed" (i.e., item #179), verified replacement value (#165), or were provided as repair allowances based on our substantial experience of the cost of repairing furniture items.  At this point, in order to move forward, we would like to offer to arrange for an on-sight inspection/estimate on the repairable furniture items (those items on which a repair allowance offer was extended) in order to validate that the items can be repaired for the amount offered.  If the claimant would like to pursue that option, then they can let us know and we'll make the necessary arrangements.

While I accept this step, it in no way closes my complaint. This is not even close to the resolution I am seeking.
