Terrible member servicesCustomer is never rightWill charge you for an extra month after you have written in to cancel your membership, thus keeping you in contract even though they claim all contracts are month to monthGym smells, is very crammed, no air circulation, and the WiFi did not work for me everMultiple friends have had terrible experiences with this gym, they don't care about keeping people happy at all, just money

After posting the below review of Body Shop, the owner of the company contacted my employer and complained that I wrote a bad review of his businessThis is easily the most unprofessional business practice I've ever heard ofI'll happily take my business elsewhere
Body Shop is a small, clean, sometimes crowded place to work outIt's one of the only gyms in the area and their prices reflect itIf you're looking for pricing information online or over the phone, you won't find itThey only disclose information on dues in person at the gymHowever, you can count on rates being approximately $per month no matter when you go in (that's what I pay)Alternatively, If you can invest what you would be paying in monthly dues into your own at-home equipment, you'll save yourself some money in the long run and never have to wait in line for the piece of equipment you want to useHopefully, the owner will get inspired and make some changes in Body Shop's lack of transparency and high ratesUPDATE: After my workout today, I asked an employee how much a membership costs these daysHe told me base price is $per month

Both my wife and I had gym memberships with Body ShopI cancelled over the phone after expressing frustration over billing practicesEssentially I had to cancel my bank card due to fraud in an unrelated matterI called them ahead of time and told them I would be getting a new bank card in a week and would update them with the new infoThey sent DAILY text messages and DAILY emails and DAILY phone calls for the one week I went past due
Fast forward a few monthsMy wife decided to cancel her membership as wellShe called and was informed that the ONLY way she could cancel was by writing a letter to a P.OboxThis is no where in any contract we signed! Regardless we played alongWe sent the letter in early February
Fast forward to March and the payment still came out of our accountI
