Review: On Oct. 3, I purchased 3 tickets for a performance at the Castle Theatre for Friday, Oct 31, Halloween. On the Wed. before the scheduled Friday, I was notified the performance was cancelled and I could either re-schedule attending the show, or I would get a refund. My husband and I were able to attend the next weekend, but my friend could not, so I requested a refund of the 3rd ticket of $27.37. I was told it would take two weeks for the credit to be processed. On Nov. 17 I e-mailed the theatre telling them I had not received the credit and it was over 2 weeks. I got a very insulting e-mail from [redacted] saying "[redacted] I'm sorry the credit card company has not credited your account in a timely manner. But please remember, although we have a no refund ticket policy, we agreed to approach the credit card company to refund your account because you are a loyal audience member and a dear friend of [redacted]. Saying all of this, I would appreciate you having a little patience with this refund process. Things don't always work in the speed we would like them to work.Trust me, we are not holding your $27.34. I replied to [redacted] telling him that I did not cancel the performance I had been planning to attend for almost a month, but he did. On Dec 17, I lodged a complaint with Discover Card, and I was given a credit pending an investigation. In a letter from Discover dated Dec. 24, I was advised that the charge was valid and I was recharged for the ticket. On Dec. 30 I e-mailed [redacted] telling her about this situation and she said she would send me a check. As of February 2, I still have not received the check she promised. I feel I was promised a refund for a performance that was cancelled by the Castle Theatre and they did not honor their promise.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for check for $27.37
