We are sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty with accessing your [redacted] continuing education coursesThe CE Shop, Incis committed to providing students with a positive course and customer experience within the boundaries of state regulationsThe [redacted] Real Estate Commission (TREC) has implemented security requirements for online providers that we are required to adhere to as part of our approval as an online real estate schoolThe [redacted] state regulation that is being enforced requires that students answer security questions throughout the course in order to ensure that it is indeed the student taking the online courseTREC requires that we implement a control when a student answers the security questions incorrectly, which is to lock the accountThe student is then required to contact us via phone or online chat to verify his or her identity by providing us with an identifying information point that we can verify against the student’s accountUpon review of your account, it looks like the security questions were answered incorrectly, resulting in your entire student account being lockedWhile our customer support team makes every effort to be available to all students at all times, there are instances in which all of our agents are assisting other students, and the student must leave a messageYou contacted us via email on January 13, 2017, requesting that the account be unlockedWe responded promptly, advising you that you would need to contact us so we could verify your security information and unlock the accountYou also called us on January 13, and left a message with the same requestWe responded to the voicemail with an outbound call on January 15, We were unable to reach you and left a message with instructions to contact us to verify the account information to unlock the accountYou signed up for the CE courses on November 25, and November 28, The CE Shop’s refund policy states that refund requests must be submitted within days of the initial purchaseThe refund policy is outlined within the terms and conditions, and students are required to select a box before processing their payment, acknowledging that they have read and understand the terms and conditions for the purchaseWhile you have made multiple attempts via email to obtain a refund, we are unable to accommodate the request because it was made outside of the allowable time frameCompany policy prohibits the Customer Support team from processing requests made after the 30-day deadline has passedBecause the courses are available for one year from the date of purchase, you can still use the courses that you purchased toward your CE requirements for your next license renewalIn order to access the courses, we just need to verify the security information and unlock the accountThe Production Supervisor will contact you to verify the information so that you can access your account and the associated courses

We are sorry to hear that you experienced issues when enrolling in the Maryland Pre-Licensing programThe CE Shop, Incstrives to provide students with a positive experience each time they contact our customer support to purchase course materials onlineWe understand that it can be frustrating when a product is not eligible for a discount and typically all products on our site are eligible for discounts with the exception of the Maryland Pre-Licensing programWhen a student visits our Maryland Pre-Licensing purchase page there is an instantaneous pthat reads:“We apologize for the inconvenience, but the code of Maryland Regulations DOES NOT permit discounting or promotions to be applied to these coursesBecause of this, we’ve researched other providers and are confident that our current pricing means you’re getting the best value.” In order to proceed the student is given the options to select “Okay, Thanks” or “Contact Us”This pis set to display each time a user is in a new session on the siteWe run sales on a regular basis and any art in the emails, or in banners on the catalog pages, with products that are available for promotion include sale related disclaimersThese images and sales are not located on the MD pages because the products are not able to be discountedWe also run cart abandonment campaigns offering a discount when a user has been inactive on the checkout page for a certain amount of timeThe campaigns show to all customers and we are not able to determine which products are in the cartWe apologize for confusion related to display and moving forward we have added additional verbiage stating that certain restrictions applyBecause the discount policy is mandated by the Maryland Regulations our systems have been developed to not accept codes related to this product and team members do not have the ability to override or change these settings

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I was told by the CE Shop employee that I would have UNTIL 12-30-I was promised I would be given until December 30, to finish, A CE SHOP employee promised me that I would have until December 30, They should have never promised me that if that was not the case I am filing a complaint with the Texas Real Estate commission as well as the Colorado Attorney General's Office and the Texas Attorney General's OfficeI wrote the President and CEO of the CE shop and never heard a response The CE shop says on their web site that they are honest and keep their promisesReally?
