I am writing on behalf of the Center for Student Loan Relief. We recently...

received information pertaining to charges initiated by our company. Outlined below are the guidelines and scope of service we provide for our clients.
We are a document processing company not affiliated with the Dept of Education. We help enroll our clients (former students) in the DOE student loan relief programs rolled out under the William D Ford act. Just as an individual would use an accountant, we help file the paperwork on the client’s behalf.
Our clients sign a client agreement which outlines the work we do for their for them. [redacted] got in touch with us for a consolidation and enrolled in the process we provide. We started work on her file and submitted an application for consolidation which is included. As promised we put our enrollment team on her case and began collecting and filing the necessary documentation for consolidation. Not only do we assert that the charges are justified for work completed, but we are also including the signed agreement by the client. The allegation that we are a scam is inaccurate as we have helped countless students consolidate their debt through the income based programs offered by the DOE. One of the core requirements to process this type of application is documentation from the client which we repeatedly requested from [redacted] and never received. I have included proof of our numerous attempts (emails and phone calls) to get that information, one of which [redacted] even opened and ignored. Because of [redacted]’s negligence in returning the proper authorization forms, her request for an income driven consolidation was denied. Also we completed our end of the work as agreed upon in the contract and we have included that with this letter. We assert that all charges were fair for work agreed upon as [redacted] knew fully well the terms and cost associated and signed the agreement.
