April 14, 2016To Whom it May Concern:My name is Connie C [redacted] , and I am the Director of Operations at The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal.I am sorry that [redacted] has been a victim of Spam email from [redacted] .orgwould like to assure you that we are not the originator of the email spam and this is not even a valid email addressAs a matter of fact, we are the victim of something known as BackScatter spamming whereby the spammer spoofs the reply to: address and names a specific domain which is not the originating domain.We employ multiple layers of Spam protection including the [redacted] built in protectionsWe also utilize SPF heavily and greylisting along with LDAP authentication.Unfortunately, having double checked these headers as well as many more, these attacks are not Sourced at our domains, nor on our email serversWith the reply to: address spoofed to this particular domain, we are the unwitting recipient of complaints and issues completely out of our control.We will Continue to monitor and attempt resolution, as it adversely affects us also, however, at this time, there is no method to prevent the attacks, as they are not from us [redacted] would be able to tell this by studying the header P's-none of them are ours.The only resolution that I can offer to [redacted] at this time is to blacklist our domain, if [redacted] does not wish to receive any email from us.I'm sorry I can't help you further as we take security very seriouslyWe will continue to monitor.Sincerely,Connie C.Director of Operations
