Arrived for an 11:30am appointment yesterday, arrived early to fill out paper work as asked, was not seen by doctor until 12:30pm Upon seeing doctor, no x-rays were taken of my seriously sprained ankle Doctor touched it where it was bruised, advised a large removable boot cast and Physical therapy and walked out After a PA came in and fitted me with the boot As I approached desk they asked me to make another appointment Told them I would not be returning due to the negligence of the Doctor who treated me I would be seeking a second opinion The office Manager then spoke to me in her office briefly and asked me if I would like my xrays to be taken now and I declined I was extremely upset, in pain and angry at how I had been treated after being a customer here for 15+ years for every injury I have ever had The doctor is new to the practice, his name is Santosh M***, M.D When talking to the Office Manager, she told me the reason he didn't take X-rays of my ankle was because he is a conservative doctor I am now going to a second doctor to have my ankle x-rayed

We reached out to patient about his complaint His case was Classified as a Wcomp Case from inception on 7/**/17_ although it was closed at the time, we did get the case reopened A physical Therapy treatment authorization was filed on 08/*/by our office, and treatment was approved on
08/*/The auth was delayed because the carrier had to review the case to be reopened before the Authorization can be processedThus we had to wait for the auth to be released by the carrier Patient did leave at least one message that I am aware of, and it was forwarded to his Wcomp coordinator, whom had reached out and spoke with him prior to filing for the Authorization, and afterwards.If there were any miscommunication or under-communication, we will review our protocol and make necessary adjustments to ensure that our patrons are satisfied with the service the Outcome of the case is that Patient is approved for his Physical Therapy service, and his Wcomp case was reopened (all completed before this inquiry was filed.) We spoke to patient and ensured that his grievances were heard and resolved to satisfaction
