We both remember the represenative at Chair King asking us if we wanted the furniture assembled or if we wanted to assemble it ourselves and had thought we paid an extra charge for this. We would like clarification on what is meant by the full amount paid before
we agree to close this case.

$200/as Chair King has no comparable sets available for the price we paid
for ours
We
understand the new merchandise will be sold to us with no refund policy, but would
also like confirmation we will still be covered under the standard manufacturer’s
warranty

advise ASAP as we can, with your assistance, clear this matter with newly selected
furniture which were told could be delivered as early as *** One would
assume when we buy new furniture you will collect the old as you deliver the

assembled. When Chair King Backyard
Store delivers furniture to a customer it is assemble at no additional charge. The customer paid $and $tax for *** protection, which is a five year plan which covers accidental damage,
and repairs or replaces furniture and cushions upon filing a claim under the conditions
of the plan which Chair King Backyard store helps to facilitate.
The value of this plan would be credited toward the
replacement purchase in the same manner as the credited for the furniture
Any purchase made of current stock (as opposed to floor
model clearance merchandise) would be covered under the standard manufacturer’s
warranty

We were sorry to hear that [redacted] experienced
problems with the...

furniture they purchased from our store in [redacted], TX.  We have reviewed the situation and would like
to clarify a few points and propose a solution.
When the issue regarding rust was brought to our
attention, Chair King Backyard Store filed the necessary paper work to being the
warranty process.  We do not offer a
warranty but do support the manufacturer’s warranty.  We file the claim and work on the customer’s
behalf to obtain the desired results, but ultimately the decision as to what
will be done is up to the manufacturer.   
As the customer noted, the frame on this furniture is made
of steel and can rust.  The manufacturer determined
that water left on the furniture did rust and ran down the leg of the
furniture. 
The holes that the customer sees are not cracks in the furniture,
but weep holes which are required in the manufacturing process.  They allow for heat in the escape during assembly
and allow water to drain out.
Chair King Backyard Store has sold over 300 sets of this particular
item without incident.  We are not sure
why there is an issue in this case except for the item being left in wet area causing
rust to form.
Although the manufacturer makes the final determination,
Chair King Backyard Store would like the customer to be happy.  For over 64 years we have been selling
quality furniture and working to satisfy customers.  We are willing to accept the furniture back
and offer a credit toward any other merchandise in our store and allow the customer
to use the full amount paid as credit toward that purchase.   That merchandise will be sold with a no
refund policy attached.
