I do not accept this response made by the business nor their Voice Mail explanation of the cracking as "Mother Nature"The cracks have now increased to All five cracks are around the drains installed with the original concreteThe rest of the concrete seems fine! With this progression in the cracking, will there be even more by spring? What did my husband and I pay for? Was the job done correctly around the drains? Only a written promise of replacement of that affected area before as well as reimbursement for the related landscaping will satisfy the matter(a photo of the latest area will be downloaded separately to Revdex.com - the rest are available by email request to me)
Concrete products normally have some cracking and shrinkage. Minor cracking is normal. Cracking can be caused by elements outside of the contractor's control. Control joints are placed in the concrete to help control cracks and provide a less visible area for them to occur. The repaired area may not match the existing area in color and texture.

[redacted]The response from Mr. [redacted]/S & J Concrete is unsatisfactory. To date, we now have 3 fine cracks - the latest is 2 feet long and in a different area from the first. (all have been photographed and dated) Using Mr. [redacted] explanation of "Mother Nature" is not logical in that we paid $7000. for the replacement of cracked concrete, and S & J did not do that - a reputable concrete installer should know how to deal with "Mother Nature". Additionally, S & J Concrete was referred to us by Perret Homes of Green Bay, our neighbor; in May, 2015 we told Perret of our satisfaction, and now we will need to retract that. We want a written statement from S & J Concrete with promise to replace the cracked area - with a probable date of installation before 060116 as well as reimbursement of any damage to our adjacent landscaping which was done last summer thru CJS Landscaping of Green Bay.
