Falsely advertised hours on website On [redacted] I checked the business hours on the websites it said open 9-5 on Saturday. Went to pay a bill [redacted] around 4-4:30 and the door says they close at 3:30. So I made a wasted trip. Called on [redacted] and was told that they put in 6 months ago to change the website and basically to bad I should of checked the hour on their walls at the store the last time I was there. I told them it was false advertising and that it should be fixed, the man I was speaking with had horrible customers service skills and hung up on me. It is still the same website www.thecheckexchangema.com, but the company was in the process of changing the look and format. It did not help her on the day she was trying to come in. I tried to apologize but she kept on yelling at me. As I figured there was no resolution and did not want any further verbal abuse, I hung up the phone.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I was basically told that oh well the request to change the website was put in six months prior and basically to bad there is nothing that can be done because the website hadn't made the changes and that because I was a prior customer I should have looked more closely at the sighs posted on the door of the business. I tried explaining that it was a false advertisement because the website had different hours than what the stores actual hours were. When a customer is upset about a wasted time and gas to pay a bill I find it extremely BAD customer service to hang up on them rather than trying to actually resolve the issue. It ended up upsetting me more and I WILL NOT USE THEIR SERVICES EVER AGAIN due to the man that could not be bothered to address my inconvenience or even apologize for it and the fact that they were falsely advertising hours and tried putting the blame on me for not looking at the hours while at the business, why have a website if its wrong anyways and if the customer should have just call to check or read the signs. I don't understand how that is good business or customer service.
