To Whom It May Concern:Our customer satisfaction is our number one priority, which is why we back every clean with a Satisfaction GuaranteeDuring this customer’s In-Home Estimate, we explained that the safety of our cleaners is a high priority of ours, and because of Worker’s Comp guidelines they
are not allowed to have both feet off the ground at any time while in our customer’s homesOur cleaners do, however, carry extension woolies to reach higher areas that they would otherwise be unable to reachThis is explained in every In-Home Estimate we perform. Regarding the clean that this customer is requesting a refund on, we had one of our Team Leaders, who is also a Trainer, along with two other Professional Housecleaners in her home cleaning for two and a half hours, which equates to seven and a half man hoursAt the end of the clean, the Team Leader/Trainer performed an inspection with the customer, who said she was happy with the clean in the kitchen and throughout the whole homeHad she mentioned the areas she was upset about at the time, the team would have recleaned those places then. During this inspection, the customer did mention the bathroom mirrorAfter taking a look, the Team Leader/Trainer noted that the issue was that the mirror was flaky, often due to being an older mirror, and some of the flakes came off when cleaningThe customer understood and did not question that anymore. The customer did call the office later to complain about the clean and the mirror, so the owner and manager of the office went out for an inspectionAfter inspecting and seeing some areas that could have been done better, the owner offered to reclean those areas, in line with our Satisfaction Guarantee policyBut, the customer declined saying they had already recleaned themWhich is when we offered a $discount on their next cleanWe also learned at this time that the customer had put a stop payment on the check they used to pay for this clean.Upon inspecting the mirror, the owner confirmed what the Team Leader/Trainer had already observedBeing above the sink, these mirrors would have been splashed with water and overtime that can lead to the flaking issue. At this time, we feel we cannot take the blame on the damaged mirrorAdditionally, this customer had put a stop payment on the check we received to pay for the clean mentioned above, so a refund is not applicable because the clean was never paid for.Thank you,Paul M***Owner- The Cleaning Authority of West Chester
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1. Their workers comp guidelines were never explained to me in reference to 2 feet on ground. If it had I would have never hired this company.2. The team leader took me to my bathroom first where I noticed my mirror immediately. When confronted she lied and said my mirror was like that before she started cleaning. She knew at that point I was upset. I did tell her the bathroom looked clean. At that point it was a hurry up and pack up to leave. She did not take me through my house and I never told her I was happy. She knew I was upset. As she walked out the door she said her supervisor would not be coming but would call. She never did.3. My mirrors were not old. We moved in our house 23 years ago. We remolded our bathroom 10 years ago. They make it sound like the mirrors were really old. Also I did question about my mirrors being like that after she cleaned them. I was never ok with it.4. Why would I accept $50 on next clean. I had no intention of having them back. Also, about the stopped check. I called 2 days after this not when the owner came out. I never stopped payment on the check even though I wanted to.5. I want my check returned and I want compensation for my damaged mirror. I have to replace both my mirrors now because they were identical.
