I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
They issued a stop payment on the first check sent to the wrong address and reissued another check to my attention. The check was received for the correct amount of the overpayment.

I will be contacting him to see if he is in possession of this check, or if it needs a stop payment and a reissue.
Unfortunately, W do not'have notations on [redacted]'s account regarding any of these calls. We do have several lines in the office and typically they are not all in use at once. Therefore, we will have to look further into .the reason [redacted] was unable to reach our office directly.
Again, I will contact [redacted] to see if he is in receipt of check# [redacted]. It has been issued over a month ago.

Review: Medical service rendered on 5/29/14 the office required a payment of $90.00 as my estimated financial responsibility and I was informed in writing that a refund would be issued when my insurance company paid the claim, which was on 6/2/14. Called on 6/20 asked for refund. Told, they did not receive payment. Called back on 7/28/14 and was told a refund of $62.20 was on the account and that a check was going out to me on 7/30. (They only write checks 2 times a month - on the 15th and 30th) As of today, 9/8/14, I have not received the overpayment on the account as promised in writing and verbally by the doctor's office. Several more attempts have been made to reach the billing department, but the line is always busy.Desired Settlement: Issure refund check in the amount of the overpayment of $62.20.
