Me and my husband rented a home that Mrs Genevra S owns in *** under 6sinvestments llc. There has been multiple problems with the rental property. Weve had 2 floods in the dinning room that destroyed our property along with the floors and ceiling of this home. The sewage backed up in the home and ruined the laundry room floor. Shes refused to fix anything. My husband has had to take time off from work and fix these issues himself and money out of our own pocket . She accused us as tenants that we caused the damages. Leaks were behind the wall in master bath and the sewage line collapsed due to tree roots growing into the sewage line. When trying to discuss these issues with Mrs Genevra she again accused us as tenants. She has sent people over without our permission (Jamie) hired help and she went through our belongings while we were out. Weve over paid on rent and paid a large deposit which will not be refunded might I add. Stated that weve not paid all of our rent for December. The reason why it cost us over 500 to fix the sewage line that as a owner refused to have fixed. People truly need to be warned when renting anything from 6sinvestments llc. Weve called the environmental department and currently have reported other issues that are going on in the home as well. They've tried reaching out to her with failed return phone calls. As of December 15th 2019 we will be moving into another home. We as tenants can no longer fix the numerous repairs on someone else's property and still expect us to pay our rent and not deduct the cost of materials, equipment and my husband's time off from work to do so.
