Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:It is unfortunate that the responder is consistent in bending the truth, and has developed a reputation for trying to bilk individuals wherever her presence is inserted.  It is true that I had a good reputation with the deceased landlord, and for over twelve (12) years.  During this time, [redacted] was nowhere present.  It should be noted that also, during this time, I never missed a payment, had a late occurrence; and (per photos), had numerous incidents at this house, whereas it was nearly falling apart, and due to both age of the house, and lack of maintenance (the owner was very noted for not wanting to make correct repairs to the homes he leased; have statements from others that will corroborate).  I even left all smoke detectors that had failed in the home, and prior to leaving (again, the owner was supposed to replace/repair, but never did so).  Again, [redacted] was nowhere in this process; but was immediately made aware of the conditions, since she assumed property management responsibilities.  My family and I adamantly attest to [redacted]' accusations of leaving the house in disrepair.  In fact, we kept that house as clean as possible, even paying routinely (have receipts) to have the carpet cleaned-- only to have the professionals tell us that the original carpet was extremely old, and direly needed to be replaced. [redacted] is simply upset, in that she initially came to the house, with an attitude, and "confronted" my family; and in-turn, I did not allow her to get away with the disrespect shown.  By law ( Texas Property Code Annotated § § 92.101 to 92.109), [redacted] had thirty (30) days to return, and/or advise me of my deposit status.  Instead, she, or anyone else for the matter, refused to do so, in-turn causing me to hire an attorney to even elicit an response from her.  After speaking with personnel both within and outside [redacted]' profession (those of whom have had contact with her), it is without doubt that [redacted] has a tendency to violate, and attempt intimidation of people into loss of monies, and in some cases- property.  At this point, she is simply trying to excuse her actions, which are in violation of the law, as well as questioning the ethics of her profession.  In fact, another lessor of property (owned by the same family, and to whom had contact with [redacted]); will also attest that she ([redacted]) is very unethical in her ways of doing business, and misrepresents the facts.  While the site has limits on the numbers of photos/attachments, we have many more to support our claim.  Again, this is not a personal attack on [redacted]; but indeed it is bringing to light her unethical ways of committing fraud, and trying to withhold monies that are rightfully due to lessors of property.
Regards, and many thanks,
[redacted]

This letter is an additional response to a complaint you received from [redacted] ID[redacted] regarding a residential lease agreement was enter into with the owner solely. My team nor I had absolutely nothing to do with Mr. [redacted] and his lease agreement with the owner of the property. We, at no time, had any responsibility to him or the owner at this property. My team or I did not assume any responsibility for the lease agreement the owner of this property had entered into. My team nor I had any responsibly to the tenant as to the return of the deposit as we were never in possession of this deposit, and again, were not a party to the lease agreement [redacted] had entered into with the owner of the property. The owner and I went to do a walk through of the home shortly after the owner's death. I was strictly there as a courtesy to the owner and to give my opinion of the market value of the home for future sale purposes. As [redacted] stated I was not involved at all with this property. I strictly observed, and for him to say I was confrontational or "bending the truth" is false. I asked questions about the stained ceiling to try to assess where it came from and if it was an active leak. I am sorry the seller died and [redacted]'s family had to relocate. A complaint to the Revdex.com against someone that was never involved with the property during the time [redacted] resided there under the terms of the lease agreement with the owner, seems a bit unethical. To make comments as to my character and business practices, never having done business with me, is slander. [redacted] is correct in the statement about the Texas Property code. But does that property code apply to an unlicensed owner? I know what my responsibilities are to my licensing board. Therefore, any dispute [redacted] may have regarding his lease of [redacted] would need to be handled with the party in which he entered into that lease agreement. No property manager was involved to my knowledge.     Sincerely,     [redacted] [redacted]

This letter is in response to a complaint you received from [redacted] ID[redacted] regarding a residential lease agreement enter into with the owner solely.Me or my team had absolutely nothing to do with [redacted] and his lease dated July 1 2005. We at no time ever had any responsibility to him...

or the owner at this property. He obviously lived there 12 years. As far as we know he had a good rapport with the owner, who managed the property as well, during those 12 years. According to the widow the rent was never adjusted in that 12 years. I have been contacted by the widow of the owner and her son in law to put the home on the market. The widow and I went to do a walk through of the home shortly after the owner's death. We found the property to be in complete disrepair and several violations of the existing lease. It had been painted poorly with paint all over the carpet. Garbage left in front and back patios. All smoke alarms missing. And there was a pet on the property with pet stains on carpet. According to the lease it was written in by the owner "NO PETS". These are the reasons we believe the owner did not release the $1000. I am including photos as a sample of the destruction.I hope this clears up any and all connections with me and this tenant.Sincerely,[redacted]
