To whom it may concern, The customer had purchased a stainless steel watch band from usHe then brought in the watch band a week later claiming the band had brokenThe band was not brokenThe pin had come out of the clasp which can only result from forceThe band had minor scratches near
the pin that popped outWe offered to replace the pin free of charge even though this is a wear and tear issueThe customer asked for a refund, we politely explained the band is no longer resalable, due to the scratches on the band we could not refund himThe customer's watch was made for and to fit a metal bandUpon purchasing a new metal band we explained that a leather band would not fit this type of watch and would have to be cut, which is why he chose the replacement stainless steel band at the time We have talked to the owner of the business and he decided even though we do not normally accept these type of refunds, we will make an exception because the customer feels he was treated unfairly, which was never our intentionWe always try to provide the best customer service and product.Sincerely, The Watch and Clock shop

Just wanted to point out some untruths in the clock & watch shop's response to the Revdex.com: "He then brought in the watch band a week later claiming the band had broken"I purchased the watch band on Thursday May 7thThe band broke the next morning Friday May 8thI called this business (spoke to someone named ***) the same day and reported that the band broke as I was attempting to put it on my wristI returned the watch to the business on the morning of Monday, May 11thSince this business is closed on weekends, I really returned it within business daysSo it is not true that I returned the band a week later. "The band had minor scratches near the pin that popped open"This is also not trueThere were not visible scratches on the band when I returned it to the storeAs part of my claim, I brought the band to the Revdex.com office for reviewAlthough they could not do so in the interest of impartiality, they did make a photo of the band and included that photo as a part of my claim. "The customer had asked for a refund"This is also not trueI did not want a refundI merely requested to exchange the metal band for a leather bandThey refused to do thisI was told that if I wanted a leather band, I would have to pay for it. "The customer's watch was made for and to fit a metal band" Not trueI purchased this watch (Timex Expedition) on Amazon and it came with a leather bandI have attached a picture of the watch with the leather band. After having the negative experience I had with this business, and after reading the business' response to Revdex.com filled with untruths about what actually happened, I have decided that I will never set foot in this place againThusly, I cannot accept any resolution from this business that requires me to re-visit this horrible place

Review: I purchased a silver watch band from this location on 5/7/2015. The cost of the watch band was $24.95. This watch band broke the following morning as I was putting it on my arm. Later that day, I called this business and spoke to someone named [redacted]. I told him that I would bring the watch band in on the morning of Monday 5/11/15 for refund or exchange. I was asked to bring my receipt and I did so.When I arrived at the Clock & Watch Shop on Monday morning, I presented the broken watch band with the receipt. I told the worker that I was not interested in a refund, I only wanted to exchange the silver watch band for a leather watch band. I was very unhappy with the poor quality of the silver band and how easily it broke. I was told that they could not do the exchange, and if I wanted the leather band I would have to purchase one. At this point I requested to speak to the manager.Well, this owner/manager was the most rude and arrogant person I have ever met. He insisted that I must have "caught" the watch band on something that caused it to break. No, I did not "catch" the watch band on anything. I only wore it for half a day. I repeated my request to simply exchange the broken metal band for a leather band to which he replied NO. When I asked why, he said the metal band was scratched. Trust me, there are no scratches on the band. He attempted to point to the scratches but absolutely none were visible to me. I am very happy to bring the watch band to the Revdex.com location at 3421 N. Causeway Blvd. to examine this watch band for so-called "scratches."I am so surprised that this owner was so willing to lose a customer over a twenty dollar watch band and some vague exchange policy. I work right down the street from this business at one of the largest Law Firms in the south. I will be happy to share with everyone my horrible experience with the Clock & Watch Shop. Have a nice day.Desired Settlement: Simply replace the defective metal band with a leather band of or about equal value.
