I am responding to complaint #*** as President of Hawk Construction Services. I have answered all issues on the previous responseAll punch list items were completed on June 2015. I never contracted to repaint your porch floors. Please review your estimate. I have pictures of pavers hidden in your pump houseI walked around your barn to find no pavers visible outside of the barnThe pavers were later placed in horse manure outside rear barn door. Mr*** told me on June 9, that there wasn't -pavers left on job site when I have the photos of material stacked around newly installed paver patioMy sub contractor was instructed to place all extra returnable material on my trailer for Monday morning pick upThe ***'s helped themselves to my product and moved it into your secure barnI would classify that as a blatant attempt to stealAgain, all unused product is the property of HCS.At this time Hawk Construction Services is owned $for the completed patio work. There is nothing more that HCS can help you with other than collecting our final payment to allow you warranty coverage of one year for the work that we contracted to complete. If the work is not listed on my estimate, then that work was not contracted. *** ** ***President, Hawk Construction Services?

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Our main reason why we contacted Revdex.com was to inform others of the issues with this contractor around lying and going back on originally agreed statments as well as not documenting with formal agreements estimates and facts between a contractor and client. The email from Mr [redacted] is exactly what has been going on here with lying and being unprofessional and finally, resorting to stealing.  As stated in one of the attached emails we had spent over $80,000 with Mr [redacted] and had no issue with work being completed and paying bills, and would not have had any until his subcontractors began to have issues with work, and his incuring extra costs to replace inexperienced help and having to do rework. We were accused of not making over $3,000 in payments on the siding job Mr [redacted] did and after some attacking emails saying we needed an accountant to keep records and our getting all of the proper documentation in place, it was found thatwe did pay according to what we owed.
The facts of the sequence of events around the pavers being stolen in his response are incorrect and he did not file a police report with [redacted] County Sheriff   Fact of the matter is nothing was stolen, Mr [redacted] did in fact get all of the extra pavers on 6/13/2015 and that was the same day he stole rock from us.  He also did not complete work from the preivously agreed siding project, that was NOT done to our satisfaction, where we verbally agreed a large upper portion would be repainted. in addition to the siding he did not complete the repainting of the upper porch deck floor, again which was agreed to. We did get estimates for the work not completed and it exceeded $2,000. The amount that was due in the final invoice and what we told him we would not pay (and did not want him to complete after stealing property) was $1,407. We did not pay for the final amount owed as the uncompleted work will cost us more that what is owed. See the email facts in the PDF files attached.
1) We did not "steal" anything from the Mr [redacted] and as you can see in the attached email string dated June 9th, 2015 from me to Mr [redacted] we had a difference with final payment because of verbal agreements that were then gone back on. You can clearly see we stated that we did not want the pavers within the email exchange and for him to come and take them. As you can now see he has accused us of "stealing" when in fact that is what he did see point 2 below. (see attached [redacted] Issue 6-9)
2) In this email string you can see "facts" that when Mr [redacted] came back to complete work on June 13th, 2015, which he did not complete,...he took it upon himself to "steal" stone that was purchased by us on a previous project when our pool was installed as well as a small amount left over from this job that we agreed previously we could keep. We in fact filed a police report with [redacted] County Sheriff, which is on file and of course we could produce. The Sheriff contacted Mr [redacted] from our residence, but did not speak to him. We had pictures of the stone dated 6/8/2015 and then after Mr [redacted]  left our residence on 6/13/2015 and as you can see a large number of stone was taken that day. (see attached [redacted] issues 6-13 and pictures)
Other customers should be sure to get all agreements and estimates in writing and avoid any verbal discussions of additional work or changes after a job starts. In addition make sure you withhold an appropriate amount to insure proper completion of work otherwise you could be left with work not completed.
Regards,
[redacted]
