[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: From my perspective, the issue is one of quality of product; it was not installed to specifications The driveway started to deteriorate within months This could only be due to an inadequate stone base The deterioration of the driveway is continuing now because of that inadequate stone base, not the hard winter we had this past year (the additional spiderweb cracks in additional sections of driveway started appearing years ago) That is my conclusion I am writing now because I have to repair this section of driveway after only years of use Hence, the reason why I am submitting the complaint now I don't believe there is any way to resolve the disagreement since the contractor is not willing to come and verify that the depth of the stone base is to standard specifications and I have no legal recourse since this complaint is outside the year warranty My only other goal is to warn other consumers to be wary of this contractor This is my attempt to be a good member of my community Thank you for providing feedback to the community regarding this complaint against this contractor Regards, [redacted]
Yes we warranty all of our work for year which is standard for paving company's in this areaIn the fall of no complaint was made to us from *** *** or we would have addressed the situation thenNow years later we are hearing about this and he wants us to fix this at our expense?
This road services housesOver the past years who knows what the traffic load has been on this portion of the roadHas a wet weather spring appeared? The winter of 2013-was a very cold one up here in the mountains with a heavy freeze and thaw cycle thus we know what happens to the ground when we have these extremely cold conditionsWe will be glad to fix these areas for him, but not at our expense
