I am rejecting this response because:The owner is lying to cover himself as we anticipated. When he was out the last time he said James was new to project lead and that he used to be "just a worker and didn't have a lot of experience" and he apologized for the miscommunication and he put blame on James, not us. It was very clear what we wanted. It to match. They are the professionals who know how to do that. We picked the concrete not the color that they put on that didn't match the first time. The second time it looked close but looked totally different after the sealer was put on. We have pictures to back this up. It is not being difficult to want something fixed when it isn't what it was supposed to be. The owner said over and over again that he understood, that it was our home and pool area that we had to look at for a long time. The last person Brent had out looking at the color also agreed it didn't come close to matching and that on top of that it had a poor unnatural look. The second opinion we got said the same thing and we can provide documentation of that.  We weren't threatening, we simply stated we would contact someone in this situation when he told us to go with someone else.

As I stated before. Thousands of jobs NEVER a complaint. As I stated before. Concrete takes 28 days to cure. With all the opinions they are getting didn't anyone know that it shouldn't be messed with till its fully cured? As I stated before I can take care of the issue and take it back to the color they chose originally. If they want it done before the 28 days I will and all warranty will be voided. This  is exactly why Jim told them to go with something totally different because he knew he couldn't match it. I also would require all payment with the exception of a $1000 hold back so they cant change their mind for the 3rd time. $1000 is more than adequate to have someone do the coloring.

I have been in business for 16 years and done thousands of jobs and never had a complaint, never have not gotten paid and never had any unhappy customers. This shows the kind of person I'm dealing with. The customer is the one who chose the color even after James said his...

recommendations were to pour another color. We don't choose the color for the people because than we become liable for their choice which is exactly what happened in this case. The home owners picked the color and aren't happy with it. Than we tried to go there and make a color close to what they had and again they okayed  the color. But yet again they are still unhappy. We even went as far as asking the concrete company who poured their patio what they used and they had no idea. I also told them many times concrete doesn't cure for 28 days so you shouldn't change the color till after the 28 days. We poured it on 6/23/16 but here we are still talking about color. I have an email stating that they were going to hire someone else to fix it if I didn't get it done this week. I said that would be great, my guy is not available and once again it hasn't been 28 days. I have 4 different guys on the job backing Jims story and having the home owner pick and ok the color both times. I did agree to go above and beyond and try to match their existing patio but also said it wouldn't be till after 28 days. I never said I wouldn't try to change what is there. Making threats to a business is not how you get things accomplished but as I stated earlier it shows the type of person I'm dealing with.
