Prep at home is not a good business. Since I purchased there product they dont help you like they say they will. They dont have a tutor to respond to you immediately. They are liars and there product is a scam. They say they have seminars and they cancel them then they want to give you some online seminar which does not help at all to understand what you are trying to study for. Im studying for 2017 nec code masters exam and there videos supposedly the seminar is based on 2014 information and you cant follow the video because some articles are different pages and are worded differently differently. One of there terms to get your money back is to attend the seminar and to participate in the seminar. Well they cancelled the seminar and they will not refund my money. They claim because they downloaded there exams on my computer but there was several questions I found were incorrect.. and when I tried to call them for tutoring or anything else they dont answer. They ignore your calls. Carol is a not professional. She is rude and makes accusations about harassing her employees. This program is a scam. They do not help.

We have every desire to address every student’s needs and find the best solution available to resolve all issues.
Student was notified in advance of changing Live-based seminar to Web-Based seminar. We acknowledge this change does not accommodate everyone, so we were more than willing to resolve Nestor Pacheco’s issue.
When studying and preparing for your license with us, students study a broad spectrum of content that may feel is irrelevant or does not apply to certain types of specialty—reason being, is to help students be prepared for any type of question given on the official state test. There is not a curricular difference or difference with Table of Contents between 2014 and 2017 code books.
Refunds are not an instant-process. This student was forwarded accordingly from our Educational Consultant, to our Director, to our Refund Processing personnel. After the necessary steps, it has been concluded that his refund was approved and has been notified via E-mail with tracking number for his refund check.
We are more than willing to work with our students regarding any questions, concerns or needs in an orderly fashion, being that our Tutor has a high-volume demand with other students.
Student seemed pleased after refund process.

my experience with these clowns..I got a phone call. 97% pass rate. $500. money back if I dont pass. Did the whole program. went to the classes, where the instructor sat in the back of the room on his computer. I asked him 2 questions..that actually cost me additional money. I went the WHOLE program...bombed on the test...no money back...when they found out I failed...they stopped talking to me....I have since rescheduled my test and found sources through N.A.T.E. that are far better and completely free....Keep your money. ..cause that whole...dont pass dont pay is a hustle...and im pretty sure that 97% pass thing is a load of st as well...

Dishonest advertising. Calling for more than one day with login issues but no one answer the call

The customer was helped and received his software the following day. He called one of our representatives and she helped him using a remote access software to install his program, showed him how to use the software effectively, and recommended that he study one to two hours a day so that he could complete the software and be better prepared for his examination. He seemed thankful for the assistance.

I purchased the prep at home unlimited journeyman test for oklahoma and it clearly states in big bold letters NO PASS NO PAY. Well I didn't pass my test twice just like the fine print says. So I try to contact the company and I got a answer the first time but as soon as I told them I didn't pass the exam and wanted my money back they havnt answered or returned a phone call since. This was almost 2 months ago and I call at least once a day and even send texts to 2 separate people in the company and have even heard back via text, call, or anything. I am very aggravated with these people. I fulfilled every bit of the fine print requirements so why can't I get a refund or even a mesponce back?

purchased the program on February 13, 2017. He did not notify any of our staff that he had not passed his examination until January of 2018. On January 29, 2018, Mr *** contacted Cara who mailed him the software again at no additional charge. This would normally be against policy because of the length of time he took to contact Prep At Home about his previous test results. However, Prep At Home made an exception to help Mr *** further. We do offer a NoPassNoPay policy, however, students must do their part by putting in their work, their study time within a reasonable amount of time. Please refer to our NoPassNoPay policy which states that students are to contact us about their test results within 15 days. Our mission is to serve our students by providing them with an exceptional program that includes tutoring, home study, and seminars and many times just encouragement and motivation to achieve their goals.

Complaint: ***To their responce I did notify them within 15 days of my failed test. I took my test on May 1st and as you can see by the text message attached I notified Victor on the 7th and you can see that he clearly read and even responded back to the text. So for them to say I never tried to contact them is a lie. Cause Victor responded back to me and started to lead me in the refund process but never responded after that

I do not recommend this program! This company does not stand by their money back guarantee, I was told if I took the test twice and failed that they would refund the money back. When I contacted their program director regarding the refund she tried to offer an update to the at home practice test, I purchased this program two months ago and wasn’t offered the “updated” version, in which case I studied the outdated one and assisted the seminar, I spent the money and time to take the master electrician exam TWICE, failed it, and now that I am trying to get my refund like they advertise, the program director has been giving me the run around for a week and is now not returning my calls or emails. I am absolutely disappointed with this program and their false advertising of money back guarantee!! If you are considering purchasing this program I advise you NOT TO!

I purchased the oklahoma unlimited journeyman program from prep at home for $300 over the phone and never once was I informed of a 90 day expectation on the program. Several months later when I got set up to use it the program would not let me access it. It said the program was expired. When I tried to contact them via phone call I got no answer or call back. I tried calling them several times and received no response. This went on for several months and no response. I emailed them at prepathome.com several times and got no response. Finally after calling several times in a matter of a hour I finally got a call back from a guy named Josh. I went over with him my situation and how it said expiered. He informed me for the first time just then that it has a 90 day expectation date from time of purchase. I went to explain to him I was never aware of the 90 day and he just kept insinuating I was aware of it and it was on the website. So I asked him to direct me to where it showed it and he couldn't tell me. He went on to explain that when I click on check out on the purchase page that it has all the fine print to tell about it. Well however I DID NOT purchase it on line I purchased it over the phone so there is no way I could have seen the fine print. By this time Josh is really starting to get irritated with my reasoning so I simply suggest to speak with his boss and he say "NO"! Ask why he explains cause it won't do any good so insisted on speaking with his boss and he hung up on me. He called me back several minutes later informing me of the small print and being very rude and raising his voice to me. I asked again and he sais he is the boss and that owned the company. I never would have purchased this program if I knew it had a 90 day expiration. Before he hung up on me the last time he said he would have someone call me. That's been several days and still no response

I spoke with *** on 1/29/18 and we agreed to send him a USB so that he can begin his studies again. He was told that he is to begin his studies as soon as possible, The program can be completed within 2 to 3 weeks if a student disciplines himself to study. We allow a 3 month period as a courtesy because most of our students are working long hours and may need additional time. *** was very thankful to have the opportunity to study with our software again.

For a service company in the field of helping others reach their goals and dreams I'm 100% satisfied in my choice of choosing PrepAtHome help me achieve mine. This company proved to me that receiving help from others is actually a great thing when it comes to the idea of wanting everyone to succeed. Victor and Guy's professionalism and patience was grade A in my book especially with Victor. not everyday you get to know someone in a personal way. meaning telling me about his kids and family and gladly listening me go on about my details and memories with my, really proved on a whole different level they were wishing nothing but great success in studying their program and passing My State Test. My faith in the investment in them helping me is beyond measure. Thank you so much PrepAtHome for not only bettering myself but my family's as well y'all are top notch in my book!
