Brought my vehicle, a BMW X5, to Santa Barbara hand car wash, everything seemed ok until I was homeLooked over the vehicle closer and discovered damage to the left rear wheelClearly, the damage was from their rail system in the wash bay because it was on the left sideI phoned the business and asked for the manager, J [redacted] He was nowhere to be foundI then asked the female employee who answered the phone for a contact number or email address for the manager, she said they had none and that there was no way for me to contact themWho ever heard of such a thing? It appears they don't care about their customers or their vehicles
On 11/29/at 8:am I dropped my Truck off to be cleaned Upon picking up my truck I noticed several scratches on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle I immediately asked for the manager so we can discuss what I discovered After much discussion the manager invited me to view the surveillance footage of the time that my truck was there The footage we watched began just before the truck was washed and clearly showed that there weren't any scratches I pointed this out to the manager and he began to tell me that he couldn't tell because he felt that; the lighting on the camera wasn't very good, the angle of the view was off & that the Truck was probably too dirty to discern any imperfections He proceeded to indicate that based on the footage, there wasn't any manual interaction and therefore the scratches couldn't have occurred there I proceeded to point out that the "hand washing" portion of the event occurs out of camera sight, so that statement couldn’
