I am rejecting this response because: I have videos and pictures of how infested this place was with the overload of roaches I had no idea about untill I got to the room I was there mins and saw three different roaches inside of the place it wasnt then my boy friend told me he killed already and had apoke to maintance about the infestation and while maintenance was there fixing a leaking toilet which never got fixed n was still leaking when I arrived at 1200pmThe phone also did not work to receive incoming calls I was unaware of all of this and by this time was ready to leave not be switched to another room because on my way to the office I ran into more roaches crawling all over the outside of building as well as groundThis place was discuting and so not even sanintary enough to sleep in for even a dogThe carpet was so gross that I almost threw up I told them to shampoo it and they said the next morning they wouldThe resson I needed motel in my name was bevause my boyfriend would never be there hed be at work and I wasnt in town when he got the room for us I was coming from stocktonI wired him and my cousin the money and have proof of receipt to show along with much more that took place that same dayMy boyfriend said maintenances reaponce to the roach infestation was what do you expect to get for dollars for a week at a motelAfter being charged for the room that night they threw my boyfriend and baby out while I went to pay for another room last min and I had the car completely loaded I couldn't fit them with out leaving my a lot of my belongings or throwing them awayWe were unprepared and had arranged for the week to be at this discuting ran down motelEven knowing the struggle and how mu cheaper of a problem and inconvenience this lady watched and laughed at all of itI even called the manager *** days after and adressed my concerns and he told me that was the way they dun their buisness there I wasnt getting a refund and hung up.on me before I could even finish telling him the story

Review: After checking into a room here on a Friday morning, August 23, 2014 to be exact, I discovered the room's air was not working. I returned to the front desk immediately after check in to inquire about a different room where the air would be working, but the man working the desk assured me that the air would take some time to kick in, do I returned to room 157. I ended up leaving for some hours to handle busines, and when I returned, the air still wasn't working, I made one more request to be moved rooms, or receive a refund, but was told No. After falling asleep at around 10 pm, I woke up in a sweat around 13:30 AM, and stepped outside to have a smoke, and get fresh air becausr my body was so hot my clothing were moist with sweat. while outside sitting on stairs smoking and cooling off, I was approached by [redacted] with security for the motel grounds. [redacted] asked me if I had a room, and I replied, "yes, 157." [redacted] used his walkie talkie and asked the lady at the front desk if she could tell him who was in 157, she replied, "[redacted], " he then asked me if that was my name. I replied "yes." [redacted] then went on to say to me "No loitering, you need to go back to your room." I replied "when im done smoking, I will go in," but [redacted] walked away saying "you wont have a room here then." Once I returned to my room, the key card did not work anymore. I approached the front desk to ask about the key card, and the African American lady without a name tag began to tell me, the sheriff would be on the way to ask me to leave for loitering and disturbance based on what [redacted] told her. she told me she would not fix my key card, because I was going to be asked to leave soon. I askef WHY? I did not understand, I paid 70.00 for a room with no working air, rude security, and poor service from a manager on duty. she told me she could make it work one time only, but nothing else, I told her this was a BIG inconvenience for me, now im confined to my room until checkout. I would have liked better serviceDesired Settlement: I did not enjoy my stay, I was uncomfortable, inconvenienced severely, and I was hot and sweaty while in my room the whoke time. the staff are the most rude public servants I have ever encountered in hospitality. I was not made to feel welcome, and I would like my money back since I couldn't even get a comfortable night's rest for work. I want all of my money back, such a horrible, experience, I'll never return, and I was personally insulted by the manager who attempted to lock me out of my room

In response to this complaint, this guest is being totally deceptive. In the first place, according to my security, this person was in a place where she should not have been. When asked if she had a room, she got very defensive and rude and proceeded to curse the security person. Being suspected of suspicious activity, the security asked her the room number and told her she needed to be near her room.Again she cursed him out and told him he could not tell her what to do. No respect for authority. The security officer walked away and took out his phone and placed a call to the sheriff dept. This guest was going to be asked to leave the property due to undesirable activity. The sheriff dept was busy and could not come at the time so the guest was allowed to stay as she went to her room.She left out the part where she called the front desk to insult the clerk about something she(the clerk)had no knowledge of. To make a long story short this guest got caught violating our company policies and now is trying to get money back. The guest never complained to night clerk about air. This is a bogus complaint.

Review: I am a single mother of two boys who are originally from bay area and traveled to the Sacramento state fair. I was too tired to drive myself and my children home after a long day in the heat and rides so I decided to get a hotel room for the night and would wake up and let my boys swim, go have breakfast and head home the following morning. The outside of this hotel was very nice, the lobby the pool, however when I drove around the building I seen nothing but garbage all around, I asked for a non-smoking which so many bums, and looked like massive drug users where surrounding the room, smoking, with their carts and tents and couches, which Im sure were un-harmful people, however I did not feel safe to even get myself and my children out of the car to even go in to the room for the night. I didnt even feel safe parking my car in the parking lot.I immediately turned the car around, and went back to the office/lobby to get my money back. The owner wasnt even concerned with what I had told him what was out by my room. He had told me it would take 7-10m days in order to get my refund back and out back on my credit card. It has now been 12 days and every time I call there to check on whatever the reason is on why I havent gotten my money back I get the run around. I have called my bank almost every day since the 7-10 due date and was told that it does not take 7-10 days for a refund and that I should have gotten it within 48 hours. I was told the last time I called that he would talk to his account but yet have heard anything back from him. I also was told that he had to look in to it, because he cant refund my money on my personal judgment. I feel my safety isnt a judgment, my safety for myself and my children are number one. I might be over reacting on a 75.00 refund but being a single mother and working this 75.00 means way too much. I just need to know how to get my refund back.Desired Settlement: All I would like is my 75.00 refund back. I did not even go in to the room for the people that were outside of the room.

Review: my complaint involves me checking in at the Courtyard in first of all when I came to the room the room was filthy and shouldn't have been rented it looked old,and they had to find three rooms prior to me checking in because they had none available or up to rent then at first.Once I got into the room there was no remote control and and other problems.I called the office it took about 2 hours until maintenance was able to come help with the problems the heater was broke abs it was already freezing outside so my room was like an ice box. But my biggest issue was a roach infestation in the room. We were laying in the bed and a roach had appeared next to us on the pillow when we went to the restroom there were several roaches crawling on the mirrors on the counter tops on the sink and in and out of the bathrooms in the walls and all of the walls in the room itself. I took the pillow that the roach was crawling on out to housekeeping so they acknowledge that and I have it on video and pictured as well and they said they would call the office but I have documentation myself so that I wouldn't be sure to be called lying.Desired Settlement: I would like my compensation that I paid which was $70 back, or two free nights in a suitable up to conditions roach free and no repair needed room.

Review: I checked into a room at there inn, I entered the room at 12:30amAlone and went to sleep, around 3:50 am I was awoke by someone poundingOn my door as I open my eyes opened there is a man entering my room with a flash light in my face which ends up being a security guard for the inn I was told with a bad attitude that there was a complaint about my tv being to loud which was only a 1/4 of the volume I then called the front desk to complain and received more bad attitude and was told I could leave which I did as I was not comfortable being there any longer after such an intrusion of my privacy and poor customer service I ask for a refund for the room which was refused I left the at 4:00am and let them know I was leaving the follow day I contacted the general manager who also had a poor attitude about the situation and also refused me a refund I then contacted the corporate office and left a message but my call was not returned I don't feel that they had the right to enter my room In that manner it wasn't warranted I would like there policy and practices to be investigated and some action if possible takinThank youDesired Settlement: $60 for the room refunded on the principal of the matter as I was only in my room less then 3 1/2 hours Would like the policy's and practices looked into also some kind ofDisciplinary action takin on the employees involved

According to our security, there was activity and loud noise from MR. Lupa's room late at night as a result disturbing other guests and next door room which they left the hotel because of noise. Therefore according to our policy which is posted at Front desk "any violation of hotel rules is subject to eviction with no refund.

Review: On 10-17-15 I checked into the Courtyard Inn, upon waking up early Sunday morning I was greeted by cockroaches crawling across the walls. I quickly caught the nasty insects. upon further investigation, several dead cockroaches were located behind the tv entertainment center. I brought the dead an alive cockroaches to the front desk asking for another room and compensation for the disgusting room #127. The front desk associate instructed the security to quickly dispose of my unwanted guests an asked what I would need to resolve the incident. I initally requested a 5pm stay to watch the football game.. "No problem, 5pm and youll be moved to room #208" so the room 208 was cleaned properly and was enjoyable.. I went back after getting settled in and asked the front desk if I could stay until check out the following day as I thought my request was to nice for what had happened.. She then says no, and by the way I called my manager and he says youll need to leave at 3pm instead of 5pm. I was obviously not happy with this hotel and its customer service and the managers lack of it.. To top it off a hour later they change the check out to 2pm!2 I asked to speak with the manager whos not on the property to no avail.. I then am informed he would arrive at 3pm and I cpould wait in the lobby if I d like to speak to him. After a hour wait he arrived. I asked him why I was not allowed to stay out my original compensation, and told him how digusting the room was and the roaches. In a very rude demenor he said they get coakroach service-sprayed once a month and they have a no refund policey. plus the employee didnt know what she was doing and he was incharge.. I told him I was unsatisfied with the proudect an service from courtyard inn and would never return, he said good dont come back. I said Id report him and give him a bad [redacted] review for his bad coustomer service and groos rooms.. Also in thier lobby is a sing stating they have a 8.4 review rating.... this has to be false advertisement.. very unhappyDesired Settlement: contact health departmentfinedrequired weekly bug spray return of my $75.00 plus $500.00 for stress and loss of personal items(clothing) I threw away in fear of the roaches coming home with me. So I spent $100.00 on new personal items to replace the ones lost.$575.00 requested amount refunded
